Looks cool, but man do those legs look really skinny. Also, is it just me, or does his facial expression make him look incredibly sad? Emo Megs FTW!

KA - too lazy lah...i want to spend time playing my PS2 game God of War 2...I use my off to collect Megs today.

DarkRavager - ya, I agree...some how the face seems abit off - that's why I didn't rush to get him. My thoughts on the toy so far...light but the engineering on him is really good. Quite sturdy with tight joints.

Its a good toy but not the best purchase (value for money) I had so far...that currently belongs to the Metal Fix Composite Gundam. Maybe Bandai's Ideon can top that?

yeah. his head is actually just slightlky taller, but the height of his shoulders make him feel/look more taller.

Yes, now that you mention it Megs looks leaner compared to Optimus...what I like about the Megs is that's he's not "top heavy" like Optimus.

Well, this picture makes it painfully obvious which is the better Masterpiece.

    Convoy FTW!

i think the thing you have to consider is, they made mp1 more toy-ish and more kid/play friendly, while mp5 is more display/collector friendly. prime is more robust than megs but megs has a LOT of small details. e.g.

    - his arm assembly consist of sliding plate at the shoulder joint, projecting plates on ball joint on the upper, sliding plates on the lower, elbows slide joints due to TFmation.

the intricacy in transforming megs to a gun is almost double the engineering it took prime to TF into a truck cab. just think of g1 megs and multiply the detail by 10.

Yep, MEGATRON. PRIME/MAGNUS look fantastic even in person but the legs are incredibly boxy, MEGATRONS look alot more sleek and powerful, the extra kibble look like storage areas too.

Not really. Convoy's leg are boxy, but it's better then Megatron's twiglegs.

You know what this figure reminds me of? An upscaled toy G1 Megatron who's parading as the cartoon version. :(

I'm getting real tired of the new Masterpieces. Sure, they're sweet, but both Starscream and Megatron aren't showaccurate, and both sacrifice their botmodes to improve the altmodes. Blegh.

Ironically that was the major gripe people had with MP Prime. Too much sacrifice in the alt-mode accuracy.

Oh well, can't make everybody happy I guess.
