    If they're letting him do a voice and it's NOT Megs that's like a slap in the face to fans.

    Hmmm, IMDB isn't too reliable a source.

    And I still need confirmation from Bay, DeSanto, etc. that the man from the Matrix will be voicing the one that desires the Allspark. That way, I can make sure to cheer for Prime in the movie.;)

    Interesting news if true...I think I'll like Weaving better than Welker for Megatron, but I think Welker could do very well with another character.

    I could see Welker doing a non-English-speaking voice for one of the Transformers. If you look at most of his voice-work, it's for non-human characters, speking mainly in animal sounds (Nibbler, Scooby-Doo, Abu the monkey, etc.) So I could definitely see him voicing someone like Frenzy, who might only speak in Cybertronian sounds, or even doing Megatron's Cybertronian voice.
