Since I was unable to find ANY good pics of this figure when trying to research buying it, I thought it might be useful to post some for other people to see & evaluate in case they're also in the market for it. I got this guy about a month ago (#326 out of 421 Ltd Ed)... which I couldn't be happier about considering I didn't think he actually existed due to not being able to find him anywhere for close to a year. The pics aren't the greatest, but they give you the idea of overall size and detail. Took some comparison shots with MP Prime and a few fun ones with some of the Classics. BTW, the things that look like pegs on the bottom of the feet are exactly that. They insert into a HUGE one inch thick Decepticon logo base made of polystone... which weighs a friggin ton! Enjoy!
Yeah I'm not really a fan of Transformers statues since... they don't transform. But this guy is the exception to the rule. His size & detail make him a perfect addition to anyone who displays their collections. Plus I love that he's kind of in scale when compared to the Classics or G1 Dinobots. Makes for a decent "battle scene" display. Just wish they could have pulled something like this off with the Classics Devastator set.
The seller was asking $300.00 USD but I got it for $250.00 USD MISB. Kinda pricey, but considering I've seen it go for as high as $500.00 USD, I've convinced myself that I got a great deal. When I have some time, I'll post pics of the box it came in. 1 foot wide x just over 2 feet tall. You could stuff an entire TF collection in it
he has hands... awesome, plus i like the scale n stuff, i too wish they would pull off a good toy like that
I love mine. And to think he, Ravage, and Ghost of Starscream almost didn't make it out due to Palisades going under. Here's some pics I posted previously of Junior's Dev & PVCs (from last year's TRU fan event here in FL). http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d21/amspictures/pict0350.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d21/amspictures/pict0351.jpg
Yeah that's right - it was thanks to this very picture which Ams provided me a while ago that convinced me to buy the statue afterall. Save for that one solitary pic to prove the figure was ever actually released, all I could ever find was the generic stock photo taken from the box art, but no "real world" pics to indicate that it was indeed released. Talk about an elusive figure
