Did a quick search and saw no sign of a feedback post for this guy, so here we go. Nice in both modes. Joints are a bit tighter than Starscream except for the tailfin assemblies, but that's a completely different setup here so that's to be expected. He looks good in both modes, though I am curious why they made the nose so much more stubby looking on this version than on Starscream. It really looks odd seeing them next to each other. Oh, and one other minor thing: No sign of the face anywhere. Currently contacting the retailer about it to see what they'll do about it. But this is a QC issue that should have been dealt with up front. Instead of pushed into a tray and sold.
Ramjet's face was removed by Starscream... sorry. Dude, I hope mine doesn't show up like that but if it does BBTS will fix it.
Honestly, for about five minutes I considered the possibility of making a photo-comic out of "Faceless Ramjet" seeking hi and low for his face, but I contacted BBTS because I know, after a few days, it'd drive me insane.
Starscream: "You've got a lot nerve, showing your face around.... Uh, never mind." I think they made his nose cone stubby, because the cone head looks rediculous enough to begin with. It would look even worse, with a full length nose cone.
Oh feck, that stinks! Definately be buying mine from a UK retailer then: I don't fancy sending a 'faulty' RAMJET back across the Atlantic for exchange...
Well, "face" the facts. You pre-ordered him to be a"head" of the game. Sucks that he showed up that way though. Man, I want him so bad. My favorite G1 con...as a Classic.
Probably because he's a "cone head", which would make the same jet nose as Starscream/Skywarp look as stupid as it did on the original G1 versions when flipped up. Now it looks they way it was depicted in the cartoon.
Eh. I actually think the head looks a little blunt in bot mode too. But that may be because I'm so hung up about it looking all wrong in jet mode. That, and because, you know, HE HAS NO FACE! EDIT: I just realized that the G1 Jet credited with running into things showed up in my house with no face. There may be so much comedy value in this that I have to do something with it down the road, regardless of how BBTS resolves the current issue. HE RUNS INTO THINGS BECAUSE HE HAS NO FACE! Hard to avoid things when you can't see.
