Illustrator (.eps) request (vector graphic)

Hi,

I'm looking for someone who has or who can make an illustrator (or at least vector based) file of the police shield as used by Barricade in his Alt mode:



I have a friend who can print on magnetic sheets and I want to have two of these on my car during the premiere month of the movie.

I am willing to paypal some funds if nescessary to get a good copy. PM me for details.

I need a clean vector based digital file of the above logo/ shield. So I can send it to my buddy at the shop where he will process it and have a magnetic logo cut and printed for me. I need it to be vector based so I can print it in the large size I will be needing.

Wouldn't driving around with a big police logo on your car be illegal?

 

I'm not from the USA. Police cars look like this in my country

Hmm, well i have been known to be good at solving problems so, really all i ask is that you give me one to solve, and that you still havent answered my question.

 

One more time. I need a vector based graphic (digital file .eps prefereably) of the image depicted in the above photograph. If you want to know what a vector based graphic is click here and read the wikipedia.org explanation of what a vector based graphic is.

If you are not familliar with adobe illustrator or any other software that allows you to draw vector graphics please do not reply in this thread.

Hmmm, I see, so you need a simpler form of this image to turn it into sort of a lown up version and from their laminate onto asized pece of magnet to fit to the car. Cool, hmmm i guess I could try it. Wish me luck.

 

Hmm. I remember someone doing this a long time ago when we first saw the logo, but I don't remember who it was or what the thread was called. I've been trying to find it for a while. I'm interested in sticking it on a shirt to where when I go see the movie. I personally wouldn't pay for it, but that's just me. Peace out.

 

The person that traced this into a vector image also made a large printed sign for their car. I think they were also going to sell it too. This was before BotCon 2006. About a few days when movie Barricade's alt mode was first shown.

 

I know the user Alphie sticked it onto a shirt somewhere last year. I have been trying to contact the user ever since without any succes. That's why I went public with the request.

i wish you all the luck in the world, youll need it. he does NOT need what you described. as he said, if you dont already know what a vector image is, then you can't help. its like saying he wants it rendered in 3d, and you asking what 3d means, then replying 'ahh ok so you want it at kind of an angle ill give it a go'


anyway i'll do it, i use illustrator every day for my job, so it wont take me long.

cool ok. it's getting there.. do you want plain white, or with all those little circles on it? im guessing plain white as the circles would be done by the type of vinyl used?

also its taking a little longer than i expcted as the photo is taken at a bit of a funny angle.. so i'm going for symmetry rather than straight tracing

WOW! that allready looks amazing! Yeah the type of vynill it's printed on leaves those hyve-circles. That makes it reflect the light. I'm really appreciating this!
