OK I did a search this time...and the keychain post all said Hot Tropic.

I saw this rumored on another site a couple days ago and found it myself at Walmart today here in Salt Lake. The same exact G1 HoC Keychains that were sold through Hot Tropic are now at Walmart for a very reasonable 2.97US each.

Unlike the problem where Hot Tropic never had Windcharger and Cliffjumper, these displays have 6 of each (Bumblebee and Brawn being the other two)

They are in cardboard displays in the colors of HoC cardbacks that hang off the side of Endcaps. Good luck getting them!

I so hope I can find them. I am in need of a new key chain and I did not want to pay $6. $3 is a sweet deal though! I so want a Cliffjumper to replace my first minibot as a kid.

 

I hope I find them. I have a set from the 1st release and have two of BB and CJ, however I would like to get doubles of Brawn and Windcharger. For $2.97 each i would be all over that.

I found them. They are on an endcap in a red cardboard display. All 4 were present. They were not very close to the transformers section so you may have to search a little bit.

 

$2.97 is a GREAT price for these. I'm hoping to pick them up. Mine disappeared in a move a few years ago.

 

And I was just at Wal-mart last night   Oh well I really just wanted BB and CJ and I got both of those for around $3 a few years back at Kohl's (or someplace like that)

 

Found these in the same fashion at Walmart in The Colony, Texas. Now both my Kids have a real (well very close) BB. They have not put them down for 3 days!

Yeah, I bought one one day, then crumbled and went back to get the other Bumblebee, now I am going to look in Wal-Mart to rustle up Cliffjumper, or 2 for the price I payed there lol.

 

Got my full set this weekend. I gotta say, $3 each is a lot better than $7 each. I was having a hard time bringing myself to spend that much on 4 minibots, but $12 for a set is very reasonable. Nice toys, I have heard rumors that they are slightly over- or undersized. Is that true? I don't have any originals to compare to.

 

I'd seen that somewhere as well, but it's not the case.

I think we've just forgotten how small they actually were - most of the G1 minis are the same size as minicons!

 

but they were in the toy aisles in general correct?

 

I went down every single toy related isle at my WM today and found squat  

 

Don't fret. Most W-M's in my area don't have them. 1 did though.

 

Hey REDLINE, you must have had tunnel vision. I scored at Cape WM today. I only got 1x Bumblee, so you can get you some cool stuffs.

In the toy aisle across from the hot wheels and stuff. In a big redish black box with pegs in it.

Go get you some.

EDIT: I was there before noon today.

 

yeah, I was there around 930 I think. *sigh* I was looking for more of a hanging display, not a big assed box. I really had no idea what they looked like in package *L*
