Well, I must say.

It looks a LOT like the movie design that was leaked, and it looks like a pretty good transformation.

I like.

EDIT: Except the head doesn't look good at all. Hopefully it just needs paint.

Yeah - even comparing to the concept art, the head looks nothing like said art... unless they've got that battle mask gimmick in effect or something.

 

So far, this is the first movie toy I like.

Tekno> Well, that's why it's *concept* art - not to mention we didn't have any close-up drawing of the head, was kinda hard to see any details at all.

Anyway, I mostly like it. Here's to hoping we'll see Optimus toy pics soon.

 

omg! these toys are going to make great looking mini-collection. pity ratchet and barricade will make bumblebee look cheap with his painted on windows. but this really is a fantastic looking toy - very close to the movie design that we've seen - possibly larger than a deluxe?

looks good, the bot translates better then the other movie toys from alt mode to bot I mean.

 

I hope the tires fold back some more... he can't see side to side.

Better than the others, but the head is crap as are the claw hands.
