Sorry if this has been posted before, but has it been confirmed yet whether BinalTech Optimus is going to be plastic or die-cast? Also, has it been confirmed yet if there is going to be a BinalTech Mirage? Thanks in advance.

I think he may mean the KISS play Convoy, with the PVC Melissa figure.

As for the Binaltech line, it apparently seams to be dead with the last release early this year of Skids. I DOUBT we'll ever see any more Binaltech releases.

KISS Play Convoy will feature diecast parts and additional paint apps.

The Mirage mold has been confirmed for use in KISS Play as Rodimus, and will presumably feature die cast as well

For every source that says he will come WITH diecast parts, another source claims that he will be all plastic. So I don't think anyone can claim either version with 100% certaincy until someone buys the actual toy in a store and confirms whether he comes with or without diecast parts.

At this point, I think it's going to be like Batman villain Two-Face. One side die-cast, one side plastic. :p

Seeing the Binaltech line is expensive to produce, and its sales are flatulent, I don't see Takara releasing anymore diecast figures. On the scale used with Binaltech figures it is just too expensive. To keep him cheap I don't see anything but the same 'ol, albeit repainted, Optimus Prime (Convoy) with nothing but the same 'ol flawed (mismatched B pillar) plastic.

Seems Takara is betting on the little girl in the truck, and the big girl on the package.

Yes, and he's a "limited" production item in Japan, hence his larger price there.

And remember, a fart is just a turd honking for the right of way.

I don't think we'll be seeing anymore Takara released 1:24 scale die-cast figures.
