At this point it seems highly likely that Junkheap is also out, given the other two members of the wave have been sighted. Ross is the place to look!
Yup, saw this dude yesterday at a Ross in PA. I've also seen AOE Deluxes Snarl, Lockdown, Hot Shot, Bumblee v.2, ($5.99) and Voyager Hound ($9.99) Also, all of the $9.99 Hero Mashers sans Rodimus ($4.99; Jetfire, Heatwave, Bumblebee, Starscream, Springer)
Except there's also a case that contains Vehicon and Bumblebee but no Junkheap: Transformers Age of Extinction Power Battlers Wave 4 Rev. 1 - Hasbro - Transformers - Transformers at Entertainment Earth Transformers: Age of Extinction Power Battlers Wave 04 - Case of 8 - Transformers Transformers IV - Age of Extinction Power Battlers BBCW Distributors :: Temporarily Out Of Stock :: Transformers 4 Movie Age Of Extinction Figures - Power Battlers Assortment - 0007
My nearby Ross had stuff but not the last wave stuff. Still walked away with a Power Battler Grimlock that I think I'd only seen once or twice in regular retail.
I need to visit my rosses more, although they'll probably not having anything worth anything to me. But if I find a garbage truck I'll be really happy.
Single gimick, simplified TF figures that are at the old deluxe price point but aren't really deluxes.
Amusingly enough, some Power Battlers are more complex to transform than their deluxe counterparts...
Yeah, I was going to say this too. Scorn and Galvatron are pretty fun. That Crosshairs is good too. Punch punch!
Because of this news I decided to check out the Ross in town myself today, and while I didn't see the Vehicon I did get Galvatron. I have yet to open him, but he looks pretty sweet in his packaging! Now I have all three AOE Galvatrons - Voyager, One-Step, and Power Battler!
Someone over at the Allspark also found Lockdown, Galvatron and Snarl at Ross: Age of Extinction Power Battlers Vehicon and High Octane Bumblebee found at Ross - Transformers Discussion - The Allspark Forums Unfortunately, that decreases the chances of finding Junkheap at Ross. Checking back with the listings at Big Bad Toy Store, Entertainment Earth and BBCW Distributors, the case breakdowns are these: High Octane Bumblebee and Vehicon without Junkheap come in a case that also contains Galvatron, Snarl and Drift. High Octane Bumblebee and Vehicon with Junkheap come in a case that also contains Slug and the other (yellow, non-High Octane) Bumblebee. Optimus Prime, Lockdown and Grimlock are included in both cases. So if you're looking for Junkheap and see Slug and/or yellow Bumblebee, chances are Junkheap was there. If you see Galvatron, Snarl and/or Drift, Junkheap was most likely never there to begin with.
Went to the one in Columbia, MD and found Snarl. Also ran into the Asia Kids Day Protectobot 3pk for $19.99.
Definitely looking like it's the wave without Junkheap. Glad I got mine from EE. Also found at Ross, Chomp and Stomp Grimlock for $39.99 and deluxe Lockdown.
