Love this group shot so much! I'm so happy about how they've embraced the change in the status quo when it comes to gender.

Firestar's literally on fire! I wonder if she and Rodimus will get along well given the flame motif.  

 

Okay I'll be honest - my first thought was genderswapped Rodimus. That said, I like the cover and am always glad to see more female TFs added in.

 

Loving the flame hair Firestar has.   Looking forward to getting to know the new fembots as well.

Hehe..I created a fire-themed character for a client last week, with a similar 'flaming head'. Great FireMan reference..or maybe Lumière?

Oh wow, surprise! The female cast increases due to the sudden UNEXPECTED win of the female combiner. I am sooooo shocked.

It's so painfully obvious that those fan-choice polls are complete bullshit just created to drum up interactions. They already have the plan in place well before. Same thing happened with Star Saber.

 

I don't believe this ties into the upcoming Victorion combiner, but I wonder if it does...

 

You realize that MTMTE is unconnected to the Combiner Wars stuff, right?

 

Maybe. But they already established Windblade and her colony long before the second Fan Built Bot poll, and three of the Camiens teaming up with Thunderclash. For all we know this was Roberts' plan all along - and I doubt these are the female combiner parts as they don't look like repaints or remolds at all.

In a way, the female cast is probably increasing because of the Fan Built poll - but the first one, not the current one.

Yeah, sure. It's not like this would've been written at least a couple months before the Fan-built Combiner's gender was announced (or even the poll itself), or that IDW's TF comics hadn't established the existence of more female characters over a year ago...
