Guarantee it'll be an animated direct-to-dvd movie. That's what it sounds like.

I wonder if Hasbro is potentially thinking of moving all of their child-oriented, simplified-transformation-style Transformers to the Go-Bots line, and returning the Transformers line proper to the more Generations-style complexity.

    ...

Now do a blue Bluestreak in every line and size that caters to G1 and I'll forgive you for every past and future transgression, Hasbro.

When you say "simplified" do you mean Rescue Bots simple, or RID simple?

As I'm pretty sure RID simple is here to stay.

This is a money grab. Since when is Hasbro known for great decisions.

I predict we get crappy Go-bots/Transformers mixed lines now. It will be another reason to have a cheaper, crappier line of toys.

I thought Hasbro only owned the rights to the Gobots names and not their likenesses? Or has that changed?

Not that recent shape-changing robot movies from Hasbro have been constrained by likenesses to previous character namesake versions...

Anyway, if we could get a proper Gobots movie I'd be all for it. Or if it's just a heading to shove a load of future kiddie robot stuff under then I'm fine with that too. Perhaps the old 'chunky' Gobots toyline is getting some kind of do-over.
