Bumblebee:
Before he came to earth, Bumblebee could have cared less about his appearance. As long as his alternate mode kept him hidden and protected his Plasma Cannon from teh weather, he was content. but now, on Earth, he has found friendship for the first time in as long as he can remember, in the person of Sam Witwicky. At Sam's urging, he scans a sweet new vehicle form. Now, he's still ready to fight to the end against the Decepticons, but he sure hopes nothing too bad happens to his paint job.

Arcee:
Arcee is a born hunter. Before joining the Autobots, she passed her time tracking Turbofoxes on Cybertron with some of the other speedsters, taking great pride in approaching as close as she could to them, quickly and silently, before tagging them with her bow. She's brought those skills with her to Earth, where she passes the days stalking unsuspecting Decepticons until she draws close enough to strike.

Why are all the Arcee toys I have seen lately a bike. I guess I am old school but I do not like these new designs. I think they will sell great, but just not my flavor. The Bumble Bee is not all that bad.

Is the automorph on this BB the same as the frequently breaking one on the old Camaro??? I hope not.

 

Well, I've said it before, but I really want to get my hands on these two figures. Hopefully, the fact that we're finally seeing inpackage samples means that Wave 3 of the Deluxes isn't that far off!   Hopefully 08 BB has less QC issues than 74 BB.

Though, I have to say that while the Deluxe Arcee's bio gives alot more background on the character (which is good for the kiddies since she's not in the movie) I like the Scout Arcee's bio better because it makes her more bad arse. My opinion of course.

Oh and you've got to love the 08 BB's bio... especially the part where same urges him to scan a 'sweet new mode'. That's funny and cool all in one.

 

I just noticed a glaring grammatical mistake in BB's bio.

It should be that he "couldn't have cared less" about his appearance, not "could have cared less."

People get that wrong all the time. You'd think with how many eyes must review this stuff, someone would have caught it.

An explanation from a newspaper column I saw recently about annoying language uses:

it makes NO SENSE AT ALL

the expression is "couldn't care less"

i repeat, couldn't care less, as in could not be possible to care any less, ie. dont in fact care at all.

could care less means that it is possible to care less about it, ie. that you do in fact care about it

goddammit! what kind of a buffoon did they have writing this stuff... bet you wont see that on the back of the UK packaging..

I don't think any release info about Brawl has circulated yet. I'm guessing we won't see it until after Ultimate BB

After the stats they used for Starscream, this doesn't surprise me too much.

I sooo want that Bumblebee. And the color and mold of Arcee makes me want to buy that one too.

 

I keep hearing middle July for Bumblebee, but I'd have thought they'd have wanted him out there closer to the release.
