    Such a sad news, if he had just stayed with his family he'd be alive today, but I know that if I were in his shoes I'd probably risk my life to save my family's. What would you have done if you were in his situation?

    Probably would've done the same as well. Would've gone looking for help and some food and wood.
    Sad he did'nt make it but he's still a hero for trying

    I'd stick with my family.. Maybe forage for food, but stick close by..

    Damn...still, as I was watching the news this morning and they had still not found him, I knew were were slim hopes of finding him alive at all. :(

    yeah, very very sad, but it soudns like he did his best and was doing the right things (leaving a trail)

    That sucks..I would have done it for my family. But he didnt have a hat or anything. That dude was cold..real cold.
