Can't help but wonder if the fact that they've highlighted Stripmine is a reference to Hasbro's pricing on TFs in foreign markets.
Hmmm, I know these are just quick and dirty repaints, but isn't it a bit of a stretch to put "Leo Prime" in Classics? I could be wrong, but I don't remember a Leo Prime in G1. You'd think they would've gone with Razorclaw, or Rampage... or even Predaking! It makes about as much sense as repainting Scourge into Trypticon or Prime into Menasor. I don't mind the figure, it's just a peculiar choice for "Classics." When are these supposed to hit the shelves? I'm a sucker for tiny Transformers, and plan to get all of them.
Hmmm....the LOC's don't really have a warm and fuzzy classics look to me, and therefore no warm and fuzzy place in my heart to get them.
But look into your cold steel heart, Megatron! Actually, I'm not a big fan of LOC's either. Now if they repainted the real Cybertron Scourge in those colors, I would have had him pre-ordered already.
Great Hasbro, now if you could just get caught up with you Internatioal Images from months ago and put Menasor on the shelf, then start with new stuff. As Hasbro's present speed, I predict that these will start appearing around the time of the Movie.
I want pretty much everything in Classics, even the Mini-cons who are not and have no place in G1. However, these Legends guys are deifinite crap to me, had they have made little dudes with new molds, that'd be cool, but making repaints of Cybertron figures makes these non-existent to me.
Since Classics is due for release by Hasbro UK at the end of this month, my guess would be that these, and Menasor will be released *only* by the European branches of Hasbro that will not offer Classics until early next year.
More repaints? At least Hasbro released the deluxe Rodimus and they didn't use another repaint of Cybertron Hot Shot. It would be great if they update some of the G1 minibots and stop with these repaints and Minicons for a while.
That repaint of Vector Prime looks so much like a ship from an old TV series called Blake's Seven (the ship was teh Scorpio). I want it just for that reason alone. Now, a red Soundwave might make a good Federation Pursuit Ship too
