I really hope Skywarp is actually in the show and not just a repaint. I can't wait to see Swindle!

 

Here's the dealio (avec spoilers, don't want to know, don't read) -

Swindle as the traitor from Autoboot Camp is great.
Swindle as a repaint (of, hmmm, Lockdown?) is pants.

Waspinator? Never caught BW but since joining TFW I brushed up with some YouTube clips, and this guy would be immense amounts of fun in TFA.
I don't like his BW voice but if people want something close what about Meatwad from ATHF?

Skywarp as a repaint would bring shame and mass-market toy product inhumanity to a show that is produced with a lot of love.
Skywarp as a new mold - a different kind of plane, a Cybertron flashback character, anything else - could possibly surpass crumpets, denim, and the printed word in terms of things IronicHide finds invaluable.

And what is UPC(s)? Can I touch it?

 

What I'd like to see is a different alt mode for Skywarp, a tetra jet like in Cybertron or Titanium, only sleeker in the Animated style. But the twist would be, he should have the same or nearly the same head as Starscream and similar robot mode proportions. Flipping backwards the head swap remold concept!

 

Oh, so it's Ironhide  

 

I had no idea weird al was going to be doing the voice of wreck-gar…now the toy is a must buy…and voyager trash truck ftw.

If this Blurr is better than Cybertron Blurr (which I am sure it will be purely based on articulation of the animated toys out thus far) I will swiftly pack my Cybertron Blurr up and display this one.

I’m a sucker for all jets so Skywarp is just a kick in the animated crotch. I do hope that it’s a new mold and if not, Hasbro has the decency to at least change the face/head mold. Though I know myself and I will buy it regardless.

Swindle…meh…I’ll have to see him…I haven’t bothered picking up any others than Alternator and G1 swindle…movie swindle was a tad drab.

Waspy…well I would put his importance up there with BA. Depending on how his robot mode looked maybe I’d consider it.

With the addition of 2 maybe’s I am going to go broke with this line of toys.

Sure he could be a new mold, but come on, there's gotta be some repaints somewhere. It's in no way Hasbro's nature to make a line full of unique molds

 

While its possible that Skywarp and potentially TC arent repaints or remoulds its highly likely they are and if they are for those that didnt read the thread in the animated forum where the topic came up Kickback said something along the lines of....." Who said repaints wouldn't appear in the show?" so take that how you will.

 

so...we got scrapper and now swindle... could we have Devastator or Bruticus? i prefer that actually!

Why would Elita get a toy? She's in it for an episode as an introduction to Blackarachnia. Hasbro wouldn't give her a toy.

Waspinator would be awesome. With the way that the series is going I think Swindle will be a jeep as a G1 homages, or a Bumblebee repaint. I would so buy Wreck-Gar, but like other people I can see him as a shelf-warmer.

 

I'm all in for the inclusion for BW characters, in fact I hope we see a lot more fo them in the future.

 

For the people who are worried about wether or not Skywarp will show up in the show or not, I don't think we have anything to worry about. We've been told that not all the show characters will be getting a toy, but most will, so that basically tells us that if a character gets a toy, they'll be a part of the show at some point. It's still surprising to me that they're giving Wreck-Garr a Voyager sized toy. Hopefully that'll mean that Sentinel get's a Voyager sized toy as well.

We actually got confirmation of Blitzwing's toy a looong time ago. We got it during last years SDCC when we got the first images of the toy prototypes. Unfortunetly the only images we got of Blitzwing were design sketches for the toy. It appears, that since we haven't seen anything of him since, that he's going to be one of the later waves of the line. Hopefully not too long after Lugnut's wave.

 

True dat. Why should G1 be the only TF line to get updated characters? I'm hoping to see an Animated Rattrap eventually, he'd fit in perfectly.
