With my first wedding anniversary I wanted to do something nice for my wife. One of her most favourite characters ever is Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. As part of our wedding invites/programs etc we used a cute little picture of a girl and boy Eeyore. As a follow up surprise I decided to make her a small sculpture of said Eeyores. Using some crayola air dry sculpty I went about making little balls and flaps and putting together the first one. Who fell apart (not crumbled but the ears, bow, tail and hair all fell off) when I impatiently went to touch before letting it fully dry. So I redid everything and let it fully dry for several days... also glued the first one back together to use as a test paint sample. Unfortunately because my wife uses my phone I have no pictures of the unfinished ones. Now I just need to draw the eyes and mouth with a paint marker and give them to her. One lady Eeyore and then a matching set. Hopefully she loves them, i had a lot of fun making them... and a small bucket full of more sculpty to play with...
Those look great! And seeing as how Peter Cullen voiced Eeyore through the 80's and 90's, this is right at home here at TFW. Happy anniversary to you both!
I love this stuff, it is what got me into customizing long...long...LONG ago when it first came out. Such a pleasure to see this ultra cute meaningful piece
