Not much their other than a teaser image. http://thedarkknight.warnerbros.com/ Seems to look like an explosion behind the bat symbol causing it to break up a little.
Aaron Eckhart made "Thank You For Smoking" one of the best films of 2005. He's gonna rock the role of Two-Face.
Wow I did not know that guy was going to play Two Face...sweet! If I remember Nolan's vision was to have Dent turn into Two Face at the beginning of third movie during the Joker's trial.
Hmm, I thought it was gonna be in the end of The Dark Knight. Anyways, is there any word of another villian for the third one? Because I don't think Two-Face could carry a whole film by just himself. I mean, yes, he's extremely dangerous and one of the best Batman villians, but in Begins we had Ra's Al Ghul which is the most global threatening Batman villian and Scarecrow. Then in Dark Knight we'll have The Joker, the best known, and without a doubt, the most dangerous villian. Just having Two-Face for the third one seems a bit underwhelming so to speak. Sorry Harvey.
Not if they did it right. They could portray him as a Punisher-like anti hero. I think that would be quite interesting.
Found this on Superhero Hype! http://www.ibelieveinharveydenttoo.com/ At IBelieveinHarveyDentToo.com, fans get a look at a defaced Harvey Dent image. But the cool thing is that you can enter your e-mail and a code. You'll receive an e-mail with a link and X and Y coordinates that will reveal one pixel from an image underneath! Don't know what the image is, I haven't done it myself.
How can someone tell if a movie is going to rock or not from a photoshopped image of a logo as well as a movie-tie-in poster of one of the actors?
Obviously it's pretty hard to tell at this point, but a lot of factors are taken into account. First, there was Nolan's success with the first film, which most people seem to agree that it was one of the best Batman movies there were, bringing back a nice gritty dark edge back to a franchise that had been ruined by the likes of "Batman Forever" and "Batman and Robin." Second, this film will be focusing around one of the most storied villains in the Batman mythos, and there's been a lot of discussion about the selection of Ledger. There's a lot of pressure on him to pull off a good Joker, just like there was pressure on Bale to pull off a good Wayne/Batman. If the first released photo of Ledger as the Joker looks good, it gives more credability to his selection and more faith in another solid film, rather than just a one-hit wonder with Batman Begins. Again, we can't pass final judgment until we actually see the movie, but then again, that sure hasn't stopped us with the new TF movie.
I'm not saying that the movie itself isn't a total fan-wank waiting to happen, because I too am excited based off the few stills that I've seen. My point is more towards the people that are like "OMG THE LOGO RULES THIS MOVIE IS GONNA ROCK I CAN'T WAIT!" ... I guess I could assume that they've been following this movie like a good portion of us have, but part of me feels it would be like saying "Since they can't prove Barry Bonds used steroids, I won't believe he used them!" Transformers is the same. Yes, it's premature to say "THIS MOVIE WILL ROCK!" based off the trailers shown and the track record Bay's trailers have (all the good scenes are shown in the trailer). At the same time, the trailer did exactly what they wanted it to do -- hype it up and get the excitement level going. I guess it's like porn. We judge the porn based on the women in it (or men), not necessarily what they do. I rarely hear a guy say "Man, that porno was fucking incredible. The woman was so so, but damn, I've never seen a woman take a MALE SEXUAL ORGAN like that." (censored with PC crap)
Has anyone seen this website yet? http://www.ibelieveinharveydenttoo.com/ I'm gonna go make a new thread about it. Also, there is a great dancing Soundwave video I gotta post.
