Looks like we have our very first official release of a frame from the film:

    Edit: Found a larger version:

Slightly different than the leaked frame we saw a week or two ago. Much cleaner, and a few frames forward or back. I stacked them for comparison, old one's on bottom:

Lookin' pretty freakin' good, IMO :)

Scorponok looks freaking good. Imagine how good the other Transformers' CGI will be.

Oh, and one more thing: Could you guys PLEASE stay out of the Disappreciation thread, unless you ACTUALLY want to post something negative?

What are those things in it's head, four glasslooking eye balls?

But I like this sequence though, Scorpinok "Victimize"!!!!!!!

I'm not fond of the eyes at all. Looks a bit to 'cute' for lack of a better word.
That said, I like the rest of him, and I think those soldiers are about to get some hurting done to their soft, fleshy, meat.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. When (maybe in a sequel) Megs adopts an earthmode, then we may see a familiar design. Ultimately though (and I even used to wonder this as a kid). If I was a giant robot on a planet of small humans, I wouldn't feel the need to hide from them. And as far as hiding from my enemy robots, I would simply...hide... in a base or something.

Aside from him, and maybe Starscream, I am extremely pleased with the designs. Bumblebee looks so damn sweet.

I do kinda of agree with you, the only thing I see a bit different, is that the somewhat, innocent look of its eyes, seems more menacing and scary as hell, then if he had typical bad guy eyes. I guess what I mean to say is that a doll with innocent eyes scares me more than the traditional expectation of evil. Scorpy's eyes look unblinking and curious, yet focused. He scares the shit out of me, and if I was running and looked back and saw those BIG unmoving eyes bearing down on me, I'd shit...

Creepy China Doll Syndrome. I know exactly what you mean.
I have to say, I can't wait to see Scorponok moving. I am loving the "OHHHH SHIT, I'M GETTING THE HELL OUT OF HERE" motif that has been gone with for the movie Decepticons. It's exactly what they should be like IMO.

I guess that guy of the right is about to get torn to bits, Scorpy is staring STRAIGHT at him.

For some reason his head reminds me of a praying mantis - cold unblinking killing machine.

I felt this thread needs some new entries given today's teaser trailer :)

I took my other foot out of the Neutral thread, and keeping both planted here until July.

Bay & Co. are making an incredible film. I can now say I'm happy they didn't create the film many fans wanted, because what they did instead seems way, way more intriguing.

The new trailer took me from "excited" to "holy hell why is July so far away".

    It looks AWESOME.

Would love to see them do dueling trailers for the full trailers: i.e. one in the point of view of the Decepticons with short voice over by Barricade ("To punish and enslave"), while another for the Autobots.

I liked watching the robot in Robocop 2 move around, so I'll probably have a blast watching these move around on the big screen.

I'm loving the design of everything, I grew up in more of the beast wars era so i like the newer style of tranformer. I am glad that they chose not to use the original robot style in this movie. All of the characters look cool except for megatron thats just really weird looking in my opinion
