We've had LoC Wave 3 out in NZ for quite a while now....probably 2-3 weeks....and Ransack GTS is also available now.
Yesterday I stopped by a Rite-Aid store here in L.A. I noticed that in their toy section they have a label for a "Transformers Cybertron All Stars" which is basically the Legends of Cubertron for $3.99. For anyone that is interested, the # for it is 65358907820. I didn't see anything there though.
This store may not be considered "retail", but I found wave three last week at Once Upon a Toy in Downtown Disney. Some of you may know about this Hasbro affiliated store in Orlando, Florida. A few of us Floridians have stumbled accross some wierd stuff there in the past.
They've had that for forever (I've noticed at no fewer than 3 LA area Rite-Aids since about November), but I've still never seen an actual figure.
I found them at a comic shop in Oklahoma about a week ago, but didn't think anything about it at the time. Guess that's not quite a retail store though.
You can believe what you want to believe, but I purchased these on Wednesday, May 3rd from Once Upon a Toy in Downtown Disney. My g/f has the other two held for my birthday on the 24th. I didn't think to save the receipt for a picture of proof. But believe what you will, I purchased them. Check out the second pic of the price tag on the bottom. You may recognize the tag from the Disney Starscream reissue.
Okay, I dug out my receipt from last Sunday. All you haters and disbelievers can now stuff it. Yes, I realize that it doesn't say Vector Prime, but that's just how he rang up. I've also seen Galvatron, but I'm not really interested in him.
Yeah that's something we'll all be able to recognize. So they're out in some stores at least. Now that I think about it, it doesn't matter when they show up the main chains since I have them pre-ordered on BBTS.
I can't wait for these to hit online retailers enmass... not worried about brick and mortar as none here carry them but I want I want I want!!
Yeah the Canadian release was confirmed a while back. They're out in Australia and New Zealand I think too, the US release is running late for whatever reason.
Fred Meyer stores carry these. All the stores in the Portland-Metro area have been out of stock of the figures since they had a big sale and cleared out the remainder of waves 1/2 a month or two ago. I've assumed that when Wave 3 hits they'll stock them pretty heavily as the pegs are still there on the shelves.
Receipts are fake. If I was you, I would ask the guy the drive to your place and show you the receipt in person. We never know.
