Showing off my Busou Shinkis Magical Rides New Arrival! Yay, Arnval is here! She's number 4 already. And number 5, Yda, is on her way. I still haven't found all the pieces of my wallet yet, Dila. So, yeah, *if* we had a High Priest around here, I'd have another for the Tally. But apparently some people would rather get people hooked on Shinkis and then step down from cult leader status. Piffle, I say.

It started innocently enough with DillaZirk's Funness, and moved on with other comics adding them in...then I got the bug up my exhaust to purchase one. Enter BBTS and a $100 windfall. Shortly, I'd purchased a Metals Tarantulas, a replacement Submarauder inner robot...and her. Dog Howling. Then it just got fiddly. She was and is so much fun to pose and armor/rearmor, along with her little drone buddies. Then another pay day rolled around, and I decided that since I didn't get what I wanted the first time, I'd try again. That's when Cat Maochao graced my doorstep, along with Rabbit Waffebunny. Oh...it's been such a blast... Now, I've got Tiger Tigris, Calf Vitulus, and an Encore Ironhide waiting for me at HLJ. Soon, I shall post pictures of my Shinki girls...and possibly start a webcomic... And looking at this post, I realize that this is the most I've ever written in a post since I joined TFW2005 all those years ago...damn, I feel old now...*Goes and plays with his Shinki girls*

MMS figures have a lot more range in terms of posability, while Yuki's a bit limited to how an actual person can move. Yuki's joints are a lot tighter, and her overall balance is a lot better. I can pretty much put her in any given pose without worrying about falling over, while I have to put in a bit more effort with Arnval to get the same results. Plastic grade's a bit higher in my opinion, though I do worry about accidentally breaking Yuki while I have no such problem with Arnval. ...and that's about it. In other news, my Strarf shipped and I should be getting it sometime soon. (hopefully) Now the anxiety game begins...
Hey, sorry if this is old news, but did we know that the Wave 9 Shinkis Espadia/Lancement were going to have a gattai mode like Tigris/Vitulus? Play-Asia's listing has a picture of it now. Looks rather Gundam-ish, to me. I approve.
My Sky Girls set arrived! They look good. I got one spare so my Fort Bragg finally has a body of its own.
...Eh, I dont think I'd really have the time for it, either. Thanks for the nomination, though. Yeah, we knew. With the recent hiatus, though, we have no idea when it's actually going to ship. How 'Reconfigurable' are the Figma's anyways? One of the keypoints of the Shinki line is the various mix and matching of parts.

Hm. I certainly hope it's March, but Konami's main site still says "TBA." I want my eyepatch nekomimi, dammit. It's not too hard to see where stuff could be switched around, but Figma's like Revoltech in that the point is to be posable while looking nice. (hence the motto.) So Busou Shinki's the clear winner in that area.
Finally done with customizing my Tsugaru to be more like Battle Rondo Tsugaru whilst not making it identical.
Not to give anyone any unneeded evil ideas or anything... I'm not sure when Konami put up this list, but I don't remember seeing it mentioned. In short it lists which blank has the closest "skin tone" to each Shinki. Despite my dedication, and natural tendency to keep lists, I'm not the public figure type - I'm the lurk in the shadows and plot things type.
*ahem* I finally have some free time to take some more pictures of my Shinkis (although, I only have pictures of Tigris and Vitulus at the moment...still taking more). I'll keep posting them as I take them. Here's Vitulus and Tigris on their speeder!
