Orci isn't worthy of his Jack of all Trades avatar and I'll tell him so at Botcon. But I respect his ambition and good taste. Thanks for the news.
I KNEW IT I've been calling it for months that either those 2 or someone like Murphy and or DeSanto would be at BotCon Who wants to lay bets they'll make some sort of speech at the advance screening? *EDIT* Never mind my mistake
Good deal. I was wondering if Cullen would be skipping this one, and given the timing, these guys are worthwhile main guests. He wrote some of the episodes, though--or are you saying he's too good for the avatar?
Wow! That would be so cool to be there. But I can't make it. We don't have anything like that in England...
He did? Didn't know that. It would depend on the episodes he wrote. A lot of them stank if not for the Bruce.
Wow, I honestly didn't expect any of the people really involved with the movie's creative process to attend Botcon. Nice!
That's pretty cool. I hope people don't turn stupid like they did when Bob Skir was scheduled for Botcon.
Call it me being naive or being an idealist...but I choose to give this fandom the benefit of the doubt that what you described WON'T happen next month
Sweet. Now I need to remember to bring my copy of the Core for him to sign. What, so I like the film. Sue me.
Watching the movie on Thursday and then being able to talk to the guys who worked on it a day or two later sounds awesome to me.
Anyone who stands up and does that deserves everyone else in the room standing up and laughing at them.
Sure thing, naive idealist! I wouldn't expect it either, based on my own experiences of "internet interaction versus real interaction" They'll be traversing the con in a big glass box, Pope-mobile-style, just in case.
Yeah, John Rogers (who wrote the first draft of the movie) wrote The Core. But its a rather weird geek cool thing to do to ask people to sign things they had nothing to do with, like A Photo of Sean Connery, Signed by Roger Moore.
