I just saw an auction on Ebay for TF Monopoly. It's a preorder, but the guy says if for some reason it is not released in the next 30 days, he will give full refunds. So obviously he must have some reason for thinking it's coming out in the next month. Just thought it was interesting. I may be missing something here, but I don't get the connection between a "Property Trading Game" and transforming sentient robots.

Monopoly was always pretty tiresome, slapping Transformers branding on it doesn't change anything; if you don't collect Monopoly sets or Transformers oddities that is.

Hopefully we will start seeing a G1 wave of weird merchandise as we gain momentum & get closer to the movie merchandise.

I don't normally get he different Monopoly sets - altho I have gotten several RISK themed sets. BUt I'm soooo getting back into TF collect mode... so it will come out... I may even get 2 - 1 to play, one to store. My rule of collecting has always been - if it ain't something I'd read/play/etc with, don't buy it. However, getting a 2nd copy for mintage is acceptable  

SO now I gotta check out this ebay... yea... at least I know where the $$ from my new job is gonna go.    

 

All this new G1 merch is crazy. I'm getting this for sure.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am pretty sure that they really are making a Transformers Risk game...

 

I already have my quota of Monopoly boards, and never cared for Risk... Call me when they make Transformers Clue. (I have no idea how that would work, but it would be essential for me to own it if it existed.)

 

Looking at the box art, I wonder if Pat Lee will be pictured in the jail cell.

That's my exact response... WOO-HOO! Transformers Monopoly! Me TRANS+CRAZY wants! I like to play Monopoly, so if I get a Transformers version of it, I'll have to rope my brother into playing it with me... who knows how much fun we'll have.

 

Transformers Clue? Don't know how that'll work... how about Transformers Scene It?
