"Who could be doing this, and why?" Firestorm wondered.

 

"you guys did anger a lot of people. but the cons have retreated.....and nobody would try to attack new cybertron, it is too heavily defended."

 

"Who might they be after next?"

 

"We will send a scout team out, Firestorm you have the priviledge of commanding it. Take three bots from the group that fought in the first war."

 

"It will be my pleasure. Where will their next attack most likely be?"

 

"just be carful.....i sense a great deal of pain coming....."

on the other side of the city, a bot was being watched.... and hunted. sev was in danger.

 

Sev contacted Firestorm on his comms.
"Anything new going on, Storm?"
"There have been a couple of assassinations. We don't know who's involved."
"Huh." Sev said, pausing. "Do you ever get the feeling you're being watched?"

 

just as sev said that, a vehicon took aim at him.
"man, this is crazy" he said

 

"No... But you should be careful. They could be after anyone."
"Trust me. If they try to snipe me, they won't be able to hide."
"I never said anything about sniping."
"What else would they be using?"

 

Watching from the skies, Hurricana saw this. She instantly darted to the Elite Guard Facility to warn Vulcannon.

 

the vehicon fired. the shot hit sev in the chest. but its sound... that rifle's sound...it shocked even hurricana when she was flying way

 

"Good point. What was that noise?" Firestorm asked. "Sev? Sev?"
Firestorm didn't say a word as he ran out of the building as fast as he could, transformed, and flew toward his squadmate.

 

after the shot was fired, the vehicon got up and transformed. he drove away, hoping not to be spotted.

 

When Firestorm found Sev, he had been killed the same way Omnibattle and Breeze Fire had been. At first he was overwhelmed with sadness and guilt, but it quickly turned to pure, burning rage.
I swear, I will find who did this to you. I will make them pay, or I'll die trying.

 

info landed on a rooftop near the scene.
"storm. i get a feeling it will get worse before it gets better. alert your leaders. alert your friends. alert as many as you can, but dont start a panick."

 

Firestorm heard Info, but he didn't respond.

 

"to any military autobots in the area, look for a any suspicious activity. we got a killer on the loose"

 

Vulcannon was as shocked to hear the news as everyone else. He grabbed his weapons and stormed to Iacon with Speedstrike and Hurricana as fast as they could go.

 

(( keep in mind this is new cybertron. iacon is till a piece of ash and rubble, and new cybertron is a city on the moon.))
