    Plot: The year is 2020. After the destruction of Unicron by an unlikely alliance of Autobot, Mini-Con, Decepticon and human, a black hole appeared from his spark energies. The galaxy is now threatened with the black hole, but Megatron is more intent then ever on destroying the Autobots, using Mini Cons, Energon Chips, and Cyber Planet Keys.

    Now, for some Rules/Guidelines:

    - Just so everyone's aware, the moderators of this RP are Olymprix and myself.

    - You are allowed to play as nearly any character from the Unicron Trilogy Continuity Family. You must state which of their bodies they are in when claiming characters.

    - At the moment, you are allowed to play as at most, 20 Characters altogether, which you must supply bios and tech-specs for in this thread. Among this number, you are allowed only one Gestalt, however, this doesn’t require playing as all components in order to do so. As long as all components are present in game (regardless of who’s playing who), then a gestalt may be activated. Given there are only four combiners in the Unicron Trilogy you may take all of the limbs for one combiner. If you get a Mini-Con team, they count as one character. Armada bodied characters come with their respective Mini-Con Partners.

    - As this is a strictly Transformers related RPG, characters.

    - Though you are restricted to 20 characters altogether at a time, you may discard a character in favor of another. This can be done as long as the character being switched in is not being played by another member. Discarded characters can be switched in again at a later time, and cannot be claimed by anyone else without the permission of the person who originally played them. For example, if I play Hot Shot and I drop him, Hot Shot cannot be claimed by anyone else unless I say it's ok, because I might want him back later.

    - If you decide to go on a leave of absence, or are leaving the game altogether, please let it be known in this thread. If absent for too long, your characters may end up discarded.

    - Please add some meat to your posts. It won’t get you banned, but one word replies are general discouraged. It would be recommended that you write enough so that the other player can respond with just the same. Also, don’t be afraid to show what your character is thinking. It can add some context for other players instead of having people guessing.

    - That said, be realistic. Be sure to stay in character with whatever you’re doing. For example, Dirtboss probably wouldn’t be smart enough to tell if someone was being insulting, just as how Demolisher would probably be too heavy to do any backflips in a fight. If you’re not sure about this section, try using your, and the other player’s tech specs as a reference.

    - Try not to mistake IC for OOC or vice versa. Especially when it comes to character actions. Just because you hate the guy playing as Kicker, doesn’t mean Ironhide should drop a cinderblock on his head.

    - When it comes to combat, nothing is definitive. You can attempt to punch a character, but you can never say: “Megatron kills Smokescreen”. Even if it doesn’t seem to be in their favor, you must let the other character react. You control only your character—you can only make actions, effects come after.

    - Damage must be calculated by the person receiving the attack. That said, you can’t just dodge everything. Even if you’re playing the speediest ninja against the biggest brute, you can’t expect to attack and not get hit. Also be sure to use common sense. Regardless of the attack, it’s going to do some damage, and it’s going to hurt. Even characters like Overload and Tidal Wave aren’t able to just shrug off hit after hit. Tech specs are good for this, as when a character with high endurance is attacked by a character with moderate attack, then chances are it’ll hurt, but it won’t do too much. The best way to do this is to picture what your character would do in the situation and do it… but they still probably won’t be dodging any missiles.

    - That said, nobody has to die. In fact it’s a rule not to kill another character without their consent. When it comes to canon characters especially, some might raise objections to the demise of certain characters, as it would result in them being taken off the available roster.

    - Finally, develop your characters, and have fun with them.

    Bio: Hot Shot, once a stubborn and headstrong young fighter, is now a seasoned Autobot warrior. A natural leader with a lot yet to learn, Hot Shot often races straight into danger at top speed. He courageously charges into the middle of the fight to aid his friends in battle.

    Weapons and Abilities: Hot Shot has his minicon partner Jolt, which gives him a bit of a boost when needed. Jolt also gives Hot Shot a big cannon on his back.

    Bio: Jolt is the Mini-Con partner of the Autobot, Hot Shot. Jolt takes the form of a helicopter with a turbo-booster. His turbo unit fits onto the front end of his vehicle form. It can also attach itself to the rear of a car, allowing the car to fly. When Jolt combines with Hot Shot, two claw-type arms spring out from Hot Shot's front end, enabling him to slash through enemies or grab hold objects

    Weapons: None

    Any of his stats increase Hot Shot's stats, as seen above.

    Bio: Scattorshot has proven himself a hero during the campaign on Earth, and his newfound confidence manifests itself in his redesigned robot and vehicle modes. He is perfectly adapted to the harsh conditions he will find on Cybertron. It's surface is cracked and tossed into jagged rubble by the horrible gravity of the black hole, and it is infested with dangerous Terrorcons, mutant robots programmed only for destruction. Scattorshot still worries about bad luck but he now believes that enough firepower can overcome even all the bad luck in the Universe.

    Weapons and Abilities: He has these huge cannons on his shoulders that are activated by the cyber planet key.

    Ever Changing, Ever Evolving Leader of the Decepticons

    Bio: For millions of years, Megatron has led fanatical legions of evil Decepticons on their war for conquest of the Universe. A living weapon with dozens of self-inflicted modifications made in the name of increased power and destructive capability, his only weakness is his single-minded desire for the enslavement of the Universe. His intellect, ego and talent for deception are second to none, and he rules his Decepticons with an iron-fisted combination of fear and force of personality. Driven by a nearly insane lust for power, Megatron managed not only to survive the catastrophic implosion of Unicron, but also to absorb much of his power. Now, wearing salvaged pieces of the ancient destroyer's armor, Megatron is awesomely powerful, and is determined to beat Optimus Prime and the Autobots to the lost Planet Keys.

    Weapons and Abilities: Megatron is a triple changer, and he uses the Decepticon Key, which no one knows what this can do. Some predicted though that it can possibly change him to a force nobody knows about. ((wink wink Galvatron))

    Bio: Demolishor fights ferociously in every battle to which he's sent, regardless of the odds. If Megatron tells him to do something, he does it without hesitation. To Demolishor, a leader must always be obeyed at any cost. Megatron values the unswerving loyalty of his best soldier, but abandons him, when necessary, to save his own life. Demolishor has never resented any of these betrayals. But will there come a day when Demolishor questions the orders of his leader?

    Weapons and Abilities: Demolisher's Mini Con partner Blackout, who activates his base mode. Blackout also increases his strength, endurance, and firepower.

    Bio: Blackout is a free spirit to his core and doesn't believe in doing anything that compromises who he is inside. The only reason this independent streak doesn't get him in major trouble with his Decepticon masters is that "who he is inside" craves action more than anything else, and the 'Cons provide that in spades. Still, even with the opportunity to bust some heads, he's not sold on the Decepticon agenda and is not shy about saying so, no matter the punishment. This spirited tendency towards dissent and free thought often puts him at odds with his frequent partner, the loyal lackey Demolishor. The two spend a lot of time in arguments to convince each other of their respective viewpoints.

    Weapons and Abilities: Enhances Demolisher

    Stats for this character effect Demolisher. This one among others would have mostly 0s minus places where Demolishers stats are increased.

    Bio: Wheeljack isn't here for vengeance, he's here for vengeance.
    A former Autobot, Wheeljack wears the scarred insignia as a constant reminder of what he left. He believes the supposedly-noble Autobots left him on the field of battle to die (and he's not entirely wrong about that, either), and particularly blames his former friend Hot Shot (that, now, he's got dead wrong). He's a fierce soldier with a lot of tricks up his sleeve.

    Name: Tidal Wave

    Function: Super-warrior

    Bio: Tidal Wave is a colossal powerhouse, one of the largest Decepticons under Megatron's command. His power is backed up by a brain that doesn't exactly run at optimal speeds; he's not so much stupid as he is single-minded and easily frustrated, although his tendency to shout his own name repeatedly as a sort of battle cry doesn't do much to refute his reputation as a knucklehead. In battle he is merciless, an unyielding engine of destruction.
    He is unquestionably loyal to Megatron and his ideals and will quickly sign up with anyone that promises power to the Decepticon cause. He may or may not have a soft spot for children.

    Bio: Scorponok is a power-hungry warrior who believes that he is the rightful leader of the Decepticons. A powerful Decepticon warrior, he initially aided Megatron in his war of conquest on Cybertron. Somewhat counter to Megatron's personal style of guile and subterfuge, Scorponok chose to conduct himself in a more direct manner, leading from the frontlines and being at the forefront of many battles. This clash of tactics led him to believe that his master is weak and deserves to be replaced, and who better to replace him than Scorponok himself?

    Bio: One of the few Autobots who has been around as long as Optimus Prime, Scavenger has come to Earth in a secret mission to observe the Decepticons in order to gain more insight into their destructive ways. He was formerly an instructor at Cybertron's top military academy, and it is said that any student placed under his guidance is destined to succeed. Powerful, wise, and incredibly strong, Scavenger always puts his mission first, even if it means putting those under his command second.

He's never felt that he's had the respect his strength deserves from the other Autobots, and, while he claims to prefer to work alone, he does appreciate the value of teamwork.

He feels a keen affection for the people of Earth, whose history he has observed from its very beginnings. It frustrates him that the Transformers must keep their presence on Earth a secret, because he recognizes the potential value of the humans as allies. Courageous, determined and gentle, Evac avoids fighting when he can, but if forced into combat, he can be a very tough opponent. He is dedicated to the protection of other life in all its forms.

    Bio: The Leader of the Heroic Autobots, Optimus Prime has taken many forms over the years. However, this is by far, his favourite. With the ability to combine with his trailer to form Super Mode, Optimus Prime is truly a form to be reckoned with.

    Weapons/Abilities: In his base robot mode, Optimus has a small hand gun which can temporarily stun enemies. His Truck Mode's trailer can fold out to form a flying truck mode. In robot mode he can combine with his trailer to form his Super Mode. To do this he has to yell at the top of his robotic-lungs "OPTIMUS PRIME, SUPER MODE!"

    Name: Vector Prime
    Motto:"I finally understand the true value of time, for it is the bonds between us that give time its meaning"

    Bio: The Guardian of Time, Vector Prime is the last surviving member of the Thirteen, the first Primes. Having opened a rift in time, he came to aid the Autobots in their greatest time of need, having to face both the threat of Megatron and the Decepticons and the planet destroying black hole. Knowing all that occurs through time, Vector Prime knows he sacrifices himself to aid the Autobots in their darkest hour, against a foe that does not even exist yet...

    Abilities/Weapon: Vector Prime has a powerful sword, which has taken many enemies lives. He has a guardian Mini-Con called Safeguard, who transforms into an arm-mounted gun. He has the ability to temporarily turn back time, and travel into the past and future, though doing so drains of him of energy, weakening him greatly. He can see through all timelines, different universes and everything....

    Name: Starscream

    Bio: Always wanting to prove himself to Megatron, Starscream is what Vector Prime would call a 'universal oddity'. As far as Vector Prime knows (which is everything that has ever happened it time, so everything) this Starscream is the only one that is truly loyal to his respective Megatron. Although he gets physically and mentally abused by Megatron all the time, Starscream only ever wanted to be seen as a friend and great warrior under the eyes of his master. This might have once been true, had Megatron not been twisted by a lust for power. Many believe that Starscream chose the wrong side, and he himself nearly turned an Autobot, nearly...

    Abilities/Weapons: Starscream's Mini-Con partner, Swindle, activates two shoulder mounted missile launchers. In robot mode, one of his vehicle mode wings can become a sword.

    Bio:When his body was destroyed in a battle with Megatron, Vector Prime funneled some energy directly from Primus to rebuild him and Scattorshot into new 'Cybertron Defence' bodies. Red Alert is overly cautious, but does care for others and actually gets greatly offended when one in his team puts himself in danger under his watch.

    Abilities/Weapons: Red Alert's Cyber Planet Key opens his cannon up, powering it up greatly, with a blast powerful enough to penetrate straight through a force field.

    Sir, these rules have been straight out copied from the Colonies RPG sign-up. While that is not a problem in and of itself, the fact that you have not given credit to the creators of these rules makes this a case of plagiarism (no, the few words you've changed are not enough to make this "original" work.) Please edit your post with a link to the Colonies RPG Sign-Up.

    I think I'm gonna give my characters the full "back of box" treatment. Especially since I want to alter some of their bios a bit. Starting with the Autobots.

    Name: Rodimus

    Bio: The former leader of the Autobots, Rodimus is as respected by allies and feared by enemies as Optimus. After Cybertron was left ravaged by the first war with the Decepticons, Rodimus gave up the title of Prime, protector of Cybertron, to lead an expedition to the stars to find a new home. Returning with only a fraction of his crew, Rodimus has leaned one thing in his lifetime. Life is harsh and to survive, you have to be harsher.

    Bio: Before embarking on his quest to find a new home, Primus granted Rodimus a rare gift, the spark of combination, allowing him to combine with any one bot he chooses. Rodimus has taken multiple partners in combination, many of which have fallen to the harsh worlds they encountered on their expedition. Currently, Rodimus has chosen to pass the gift on to Prowl, allowing the two to achieve greater power than they could individually.

    Weapons/Abilities: When combined, they two gain a pair of powerful, shoulder-mounted plasma cannons and anti-grave generators, allowing them flight.

    Name: Inferno

    Bio: Rodimus' second in command, Inferno believes strongly in self control and order. He loyally follows orders and has little tolerance for insubordination. He is a calm and precise warrior, always calculating his every move in a battle, although prefers to engage from a distance and snipe his enemies.

    Weapons/Abilities: An arm-mounted particle beam cannon, capable of hitting targets a kilometer away as powerfully as if they were shot at point blank range.

    Name: Thrust

    Bio: Thrust is motivated by one desire, to be respected and not just a bit. He wants to go down in history. Thrust knows that to do so, you have to be cunning and ruthless, two things he's very good at but not even he was prepared for the cruelty of life as a Decepticon. However, Thrust pushed on and managed to climb a ladder, made of those not as smart as him, to as close to the top as he can likely get. But after all this time, can he still know when to quit?

    Weapons/Abilities: In robot form, Thrust's arms can convert to flame throwers, capable of producing a wide spread of flames close to him or long rage fireballs. In jet mode, he's armed with duel missiles launchers. His Minicon partner grants him increased power and cloaking abilities.

    Name: Sixshot


    Bio: Imprisoned on Cybertron by Autobots after his brother, Shockblast, betrayed him, Sixshot sits in his cell, waiting for the chance for the revenge he has spent so long plotting. Being one of the most sadistic and deadly Decepticons, if Sixshot was ever given the chance, he would use his scientific knowledge to reap a terrible revenge on his brother, who always thought he was better than Sixshot. Always thought he was too immature.

    Weapons/Abilities: In tank form, Sixshot is armed with a powerful cannon, which becomes the left arm of his robot form. In satellite form, he can orbit the sun and absorb incredible amounts of energy, which he can store for use in a devastating orbital strike.

    Name: Cyclonus

    Bio: Some people joined the Decepticons because they wanted change. Others, because they want power. Then there's those like Cyclonus, who joined because they just like hurting things as much as possible. Quite possibly the most sadistic Decepticon who ever lived, Cyclonus is obsessed with finding new ways to cause pain, finding an amount of joy in it that even Megatron finds unsettling. Currently locked away on Cybertron by the Autobots, Cyclonus just sits in his cell cackling, dreaming of what he'd do if he ever got free.

    Weapons/Abilities: Mounted on each side of his copter form are twin rapid fire laser cannons, which sit atop of his forearms in robot form.

    Name: Constructicon Maximus


    Bio: An ancient combiner, Constructicon Maximus is formed by a team of five Transformers who dreamed of being able to build a new Cybertron. For this reason, he was put into stasis to guard the super energon. However, the Constructicons are equally interested in tearing down the old, so when awakened by Megatron, they jumped at the chance to join his Decepticons.

    Weapons/Abilities: Constructicon Maximus is armed with fingers capable firing lasers rapidly. He can split into five small Decepticons.

    Name: Air Military Minicon Team

    Bio: The Air Military Team is a group of three Minicon jets that are shockingly effective combatants. Gunbarrel, the leader, has relentlessly trained and harshly disciplined his soldiers into becoming a feared force. The amazing and often reckless maneuvers of Terradive overwhelm their opponents, when he doesn't crash. Thunderwing isn't as capable at combat, a fact he's very insecure about but his abilities at stealth are invaluable.

    Weapons/Abilities: All members of the team are equipped with rapid fire laser cannons.

    Tech Specs in order of Gunbarrel, Terradive then Thunderwing.
