TFA Oilslick's chain and Blitzwing's cannons

I know this has probably already been done but I just got Oilslick today and he's a bad ass figure, but the only problem is that his chain weapon doesn't have a lot of well chain to it. I mean on the back of the box it looks freaking long but in all reality it's pitifuly short! Any tips on how I could fix this?

Also I do not have Blitzwing yet, but plan on getting him in the near future, yet I would like to know how I could make his cannons actually go down on his shoulders like in the cartoon, and maybe some pointers on how to make some ice projectiles.

for the ball and chain you might try getting another weapon the same, removing the barrel end of one end of each weapon (so they can still line up and then attach one to the other by either opening one of the links or creating a new link.

fwiw if you do this the barrel might not close properly but you could always just use the other barrel from the left overs for that.

Really easy to do....maybe hit up a dollar store....I'm sure you can find something there that will work.
