I like it Venska, but where'd scourge? I am basing mine off the G1 look, if that helps...

 

The character arts are just place holders, along with everything else. Just giving an idea what the design can look like at this time.  

I was thinking it would be cool if we could find someone to do a battle scene for the front of the box, instead of having pinups like I have at the moment. I might take a stab at it. But need to know more info on each custom.

 

Wow, after reading every single post here this is an awesome idea and I hope it succeeds. And he'll be someones very own box set maded by the Radicons, now how cool is that. So congrats matt on this project and whom ever helped you.

You mean like your G1 Dinobot customs? I'm going to try my hand at a boxart for Scourge, so I'll base it off the G1 toy.




Matt, would it be possible for you to update the first post with a list of what each custom is being made from, and who is doing what? Should help keep us organized, and address whats not being done yet.

Need a box builder that can print out your template on the box and someone to build a foam insert. fr is making his own tech spec card and DSN1014 did leozac art and doing Skyquake art for tech spec cards. so need art for 4 more tech spec cards using the transformers energon style card as a format.

Alright, I'll take on Scourge's bio art as well. I got an idea for the front of the box to be a battle scene art work, but I'm not sure if my 2d skills can pull it off. So the Scourge art will be a test. And if possible, I want to take a stab at drawing each of the 7 characters in the epic dull surprise look which the official Universe art does, and put them on the side of the box to complete the look.

I think a little "explosion" that states the fact that all the proceeds of this set go to the Muscular Dystrophy foundation is a stellar idea... I'm thinking in the vein of how special features are announced, or that something is "new and improved!" or how the takara boxes state they're USA versions. it should looked "stamped on" over whatever your actual box design ends up.

Venksta, Marcello is a Radicon, maybe PM him about his Universe Box Art drawings, which ARE the ones used on the real boxes
