DELAY: Sorry for the delay on new pics gang. Work has been a hassle, especially with me getting home so late due to inclement weather and an extremely slow commute home as of late (I take a bus, as I cannot drive). I'm hoping to get more work posted as soon as I can, time permitting. On another note: yeah, the project is winding down and it's come out far better than I could have hoped. But no worries folks: I'll have a new one starting soon enough! Stay tuned... Prime's new headlights are next.
Thanks SO. UPDATE: Headlights- Still a little choppy, but serviceable. I need to repaint the truck grille and smooth out some stuff. Stay tuned...
UPDATE: Meet Spike Witwicky: I finished painting him, and wanted to show him in scale to Prime. Stay tuned...
I gathered. But I couldn't resist. I noticed that mp10's spike has no helmet (giggidy), so its not really necessary.
It is, just as soon as I can get one to fit Spike's FAT head!! : UPDATE: I took another page from Jbarb's project and added some visibility stripes to my trailer: Then I went a bit farther and placarded it: I also did some more detailing to the underside of the trailer: And I did some edge-wear on Optimus; I think he's always going to look a bit weathered, and I'm not going to apologize for that: On another note: starting a new project soon: Coming soon: JACKKNIFE BEGINS. Stay tuned folks...going to wrap up the MP-01PLUS project in a bit, after I get some last minute stuff done and smooth out and repaint some trouble spots.
Weathering looks great, not too heavy but just enough to highlight the fact he's been in battle. Also space shuttle ahoy..... I can already see how the transformation will work
Thanks on both counts, CS! Yeah, while "clean" looks nice, I think battle-worn slightly looks more interesting. (also explains mistakes! jk )
