At first I was a bit let down by the recycling of this mold from dotm for a voyager drift in his second alt mode, but after some fiddling around and visualizing his paint job according to the film, it grew on me, I wasn't a fan of the cleaver swords he came with so I gave him a long blade katana which came included from the original release of maketoys battle tanker ironically meant for the original generations drift and painted him to match the style from the swords in the film. Copter mode pics will be added soon, for now I hope the bot mode is convincing enough. Is this the official release? The head looks a little small so I'm not sure if you took the deluxe and stuck it on there. Paint looks great and the overall figure looks amazing. I've been holding out for this one over the tiny deluxe. That and I loved the Skyhammer mold.
i much hoping Hasbro will consider release a real triple-changer figure for AOE Drift himself. Anyway, this is a good try.
that looks so good it seems factory,takara side with better paint of course now if you could find a way to give him the hovercraft type fan (lke the fans on a vintage gijoe hovercraft "killer whale")on hs alt mode tail lke in the movie that would brng him one more step closer to perfection.
Although im not a fan of the headsculpt (I know what they are going for it's just too human) you might have changed my mind into buying this one to repaint myself. I like him a lot more now this is a very nice result. well done sir

Looks pretty bad arse there man. The deluxe head just makes him look tougher to me and the mix of very dark blue, black, and lightning blue gives it a very movie accurate overall bot mode color feel. Ready to see that helicopter mode!
I was already impressed with the stock colors that came with the figure. YOu have taken it to another level. So much win!
