when trying to find a way to fix Slash's gorilla arms i actually ended up finding a way to fix Strafe's hands all you need is a small swivel/ball cup and a ball jointed hand in my case i used a joint from the HFTD insecticon because the peg was the right size for the slot on strafe, and FoC jazz's hands (NOTE: the ball cup on the insecticon's arms are the ones i used) all you need to shave at some plastic on Strafe's arms so that the ball cup has clearance when you insert it into the arm and thats it! Now Strafe can pull of some better poses and even hold his crossbow properly! and when in Pteranodon mode he looks less like a crucified robot as the hands can fold in
Let me say that this is genius Now I just need to find me a swoop as I already have a junker insecticon....
are the arms able to fold in fully? I'm thinking of taking the plunge and sacrificing my FoC Jazz just for Strafe, but I'm weighing the options of sacrificing a toy just so another can have slightly better hand articulation T_T
they are able to fold in about this much while it doesn't look 100% good it makes it look less like he's crucified by a a notch
Interesting. I already did the 'cut the arm back up so his hand can fold inside his arm' mod but this is nice.
