A little something i put together inspired by the great sequel to transformers! I resculpted the legs almost entirely, i filled in the back, sculpted the calves from bare imagination and observations, flames are pinstriped, figure has battle damage details using black and silver to give the feel of fire damage, and a high gloss coat to seal the deal. The sword fits through friction in his back, and the shield has a blue coloring on the extra "energy" part of it to match the concept art. some flames on the shield top part, and the head is on a ball joint with a FACEPLATE headsculpt. Back panels and tanks are sculpted. Smokestacks are from the original figure rearranged. added parts on the mid section of the back sides for extra beefy look.

Shame it won't transform anymore, but with a gorgeous look like that, who would care..

That's awesome. Since seeing the movie, I've been eyeing Leader Prime. How difficult was the leg mod? Do the wheels and wheel well unscrew or did it have to be cut off?

He looks great. It's a shame you have to do so much to make Optimus even close to screen accurate. That new model for him just isn't functional. It may look cool, but it's a lousy design for a Transformer.

    Great work on this.

    Thanks!
there are plenty of additions and subtractions to the legs. i sculpted the parts all around them myself.
i'm assuming you mean a one step changer, i DID mention i sculpted these parts right? lol.
    thanks man
thanks! believe it or not, it was more helpful to me this way. it gave me the perfect base to work on and build around. i even balljointed his head and neck area :D
