Keeping with my G1 grimlock repaint theme, I got construct bots grimlock with some Tesco vouchers.......... I wasn't going to pay for it since I wasn't sure if it was any good.  

I used silver appliance spray since it needs no basecoat or undercoat

and plastokote blue and red for brushwork, since its durable enough




I basically sprayed the clip on armour silver and gold accordingly


then started on the chest piece with red


waited for it to dry and sealed with lacquers

then assembled


as nice as it looked it wasn't g1 enough
so I dismantled the upper arms from the torso and sprayed them up too.


then painted the kneecaps



G1 ENOUGH?



I'll let these guys decide.

Thanks guys, I'm torn as to whether or not to paint the sword red or not.......IT WOULD RUIN DINOMODE..... hold on I got a red constructbot sword somewhere............wonder if the old bits fit the new bots.

That's a pretty big complement, but yeah buy him, hes awesome and has none of the fiddly rotation to transform that the first constructbots had.
