Too bad they can't combine as they are models. But they do indeed look fantastic! Great paint work as always bro.
Thank you! Thanks Ha! I've got a few things lined up. Some commission work, and a few joint projects with you matey!! My Stunticons are on the shelf now! I'm happy Above my iGear MP Coneheads. I can see now why you did that work on your Coneheads. Mine are buggers to try and stand up! Haha! Thanks mate. Cheers Rob. Great seeng you back here! Thanks mate.
Those do look impressive,James. The good thing about the journey is that you lived it, loved it and made through it,with your partner by your side no less. Now just enjoy your labor of love. Great job to the both of you!
They look amazing. As was said earlier...they really give a sense of realism to the G1 molds. Now you need to do the original Ark crew in 1:24. ...that might get pricey though... Again, great work!!!
Yup, they look good but are an absolute ball ache. It's the MP11 heel spur that fixes everything. Would be good to see them side by side when you paint the next two
Thanks my good friend I'm very pleased with these. I think the scale looks nice next to my MP seekers. That's really kind, thank you. I might try a few Ark crew in the same scale Frustrating to stand up aren't they?! I'll be painting the next MP11 Conehead soon. Get the thread up and running again
Holy smoley! Those are spot-on! It makes me wonder how official TF models would sell if Hasbro licensed them out to a model company.
Good point! I'd like them I've got some Autobots in mind to do, plus I'll be painting a few of TigerBlade's fantastic creations soon. Exciting times for me, and I'm enjoying it I love all things Stunticons Very kind of you to say. Thanks mate. Thank you
Those look fantastic, great job! What did you use as a base for Drag Strip? He's been the one hang-up that's kept me from starting any Stunticon models, since I haven't been able to find a true 1/24 scale Tyrrell P34.
I was wondering about that too---that one can't be 1/24, if the other cars are---he's the biggest of the group in these pics, yet the real thing was TINY.
I think Drag Strip's base is posted on page 2 here. He was extremely hard to find. Many models/cars I found, but they were an insane price! The one I got was classed as 1/24. For me, it goes perfect with the others. And thanks Drag Strip was sold to me by a dealer as being 1/24. If he is or isn't 1/24 I honestly couldn't say 100%. The other cars I used are stamped 1/24 on their bases, so I can guarantee you they are all 1/24 scale. Motormaster was actually a 1/25 model kit. The main thing for me is that I'm very happy with them on my shelf I don't keep much of my own work so these have a special place in my heart. They've done the rounds these cars as well. I think two were from the UK, one from France, one from Italy and one from America.
Man, James just took another look at these. They are really awesome. What are you doing with these? Motormaster needs his trailer!!
Thanks Zac. Motormaster certainly should have his trailer Not sure if I've got room for one, but it would complete everything. These are staying with me. They're on a display shelf under my MP11's and as they're slightly bigger than the standard MP car (1/28 I think) being that little bit bigger I think they go well with the MP seekers. I'll have to take a picture so you can see them all together I'd love to have the chance one day of getting realistic, MP scaled Stunticons displayed in robot mode (Warbotron I hope get them right!)
Yes mate, I didn't know you had a thread for these labours of love!! These must look so good on display together, Motormaster looks plain badasssss, well they all do actually but MM is a little bit more badass than the rest.
