After staring at the base figure for a while, I just started hacking away until I saw all the similarities to War For Cybertron Barricade and bam, here he is. I use a couple photos of the concept art for ol' Barry as well as using the design from the actual game. I started by shaving off all the spikes that were jutting out from every side of this figure Clipped the rear flaps and added extended door panels and the purple grid through the figure's glowing areas. Crafted his light bar so it wouldn't intrude with his transformation. The wheels were flipped over and filled with putty to mold the more Tron like wheels without having to make new ones. I did my best to make his metal look worn and pitted with some chunks missing here and there. He is a veteran of the Cybertron wars after all. What do ya'll think? http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p10/del_toro1/DSCN0813_zps3c03fc60.jpg http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p10/del_toro1/DSCN0815_zps06844906.jpg http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p10/del_toro1/DSCN0792_zps62542493.jpg http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p10/del_toro1/DSCN0789_zpsc7d9d346.jpg
Disappointed that there wasn't an official WFC Barricade. This one is fantastic! Love the creativity of the flipped wheels. Are those custom decals?
And I used the symbols from barricade deluxe movie edition for the police badges and used a gundam Gray pen to make the lines
Forgot to add my fave but cheese pic. oh and The only spikes I kept from his original form are on the hood, I just felt they added to the cybertronian look. [/IMG]
This is great. I love Barricade's appearance in War for Cybertron, and this is a very good representation of his form in that game.
Really like this, excellent !! This figure is one of the best for customizing so many different options you could do with it
You are so right! You should have seen what this guy was before I finalized the Barricade concept. Sometimes it seems like the people who designed it wanted us to do more, the gaps and hinges on this figure allow for so many options. Thanks again Rodimus!
