MP-08 Masterpiece Grimlock Larger Forearms! Shapeways! Here are the much anticipated and HIGHLY requested Transformers MP-08 GRIMLOCK larger forearms! They will fit easily on to your MP-08 figure but you will lose the light up feature in the right hand (The wire and LED will have to be snipped out). These are being sold in conjunction with the original commissioner of the design. I apologize in advance for the big price, but I have little control over that as these require A LOT of material to make, thus the inflated cost. Nice job man! I'll have to see about getting a set of these to go with Grims new boots that come with FT Scoria, now if there was a way to just increase the size of his thighs we'd have a never perfectly propotioned Grimlock when all's said and done.
Nice work, these look really great! I'd definitely drop down on these if I ever pick up the figure, which I might with the new Hasbro release. Still deciding.
This maybe a silly question but wouldn't an extra piece that replaces the lower connection to the existing forarms allow a slide - and possibly retain the electronics and thus allow the option of shorter legs in dinomode if you wanted it. I only mention it as I suspect some people would want to keep the light up feature and frankly the over all length of the arms is more import in my view than how that is achieved perhaps ? That said the effect is pleasing and an ideal partner to the Scoria packed Grimlock bootie extenders too.
