The "Abstract" TF-line presses-on with the 4th and newest member in the series, G1 Grimlock! Worked on this one a little bit to break the monotony between the big stuff (Titan & Frenzy) and stay productive. This dino-leader will stand at about 13-inches tall, 12-inches wide & about 19-inches long.

Grimmy will be LOADED with articulation, starting with a 3-point pivoting tail, a rotating torso, 2-pivoting joints at the hips, bendable knees, posable claws (front & back on foot), posable shoulders & elbows, fully-posable head on a ball-joint & wide-opening jaws. I even managed to get him to balance on one foot & tail-tip with the other foot in the air for some stomping-action! Stay tuned for updates soon, will be working on the head and arms and a little somethin' extra to compliment his character. ;)

I just work long hours....wake up early & go to bed late until I reach a "checkpoint" that I'm happy with & call it quits. I had to take a break from the Frenzy & Titan-project to keep from burning out. This took my mind off of them, but I'm still able to stay busy & productive with something else and stay in the groove at the same time. It's easy to get in a productive-rut and not do Anything, so I just keep busy with something else and stay hot.

Yep, Grimlock is a far-different breed of pieces than the others I did, he's much bigger & a little more mind-bending to engineer! He's comin' along beautifully though, I couldn't be happier with the outcome so far...

Thanks PK! I came really close to churning out a Soundwave for somebody not too long ago, I'm just waiting on him to get started. Will be a lot of fun building a little minion for him on the side as well. Gotta do all the core G1 characters eventually!

    Glad you like :)

Head is done.....so here's a teaser-pic, hope y'all like! Lemme know what you think! ....And yes, the jaws open NICE & W-I-D-E :ev:

Thanks James! Wait'll you see the articulation I was able to pull off on this bad-boy. :)

Glad you like! The jaws open nice & wide too, like it should be! Just finished his little stick arms & claws, nearly done!

Thanks Z! Now I'm all pumped to build the rest of the Dinobots, Swoop in particular. Gotta control myself though and finish Frenzy & Titan first.

Would LOVE to tackle the rest of the Dinobots. ALL of them would be fun to do as a matter of fact, but since time is so short and I'm currently swamped, I can't take on anymore projects for a couple of months.....at least until I make some more significant headway on the current Titan & Frenzy commissions. I had to tinker with Grimlock in my spare time to break the monotony a little bit and stay productive, but I'm nearly done with him. Grimlock wasn't a commission, I just did it for fun til I find a buyer for him so....unless the other Dinobots are commissioned, the rest won't be done for a while.

Been tinkerin' with Grimmy here and there in between the new Titan-project and Frenzy, he's almost done! :D

Grimmy is indeed the King! :ev:

    I do my best, thanks!

Almost done for the exception of the final paint-job and YouTube video, it's gonna be fun! I also managed to slap together a little makeshift abstract/minimal Wheelie to ride on 'eem. ;)

Nope, but he's finished! Just gotta disassemble & prime & paint & he's all done. Might have him wrapped up in the next week or two....
