Firstly, thank you to TigerBlade, Stevil33, CZ Hazard and Jonny Napalm for enormous support and help on this custom. I appreciate the time, and encouragement you all gave me. Alt mode pictures are on page 4. Hegemon as a figure I love. But, as I only collect MP figures now he didn't quite fit with that line. Plus, I've got very limited space and have my eye on Kronos who's gonna take up a fair bit of room Hegemon was primed with numerous thin coats, and painted very carefully with Vallejo chrome paint. Again, numerous thin coats. I'm very happy with the outcome. He has detail painted on his eyes and face. He will be going on eBay within a few hours. I've already got a feeling he might just be one off those figures I buy back in time!! And lastly, a kind of thanks to my helper with the photos!!!
Man great wok, I've been meaning to do this myself but never got around to it. The only thing I hate about his design are his stump for hands, and your great work only brings out that only flaw he has even more (IMO). Been looking for some manipulators for him, but still can't seem to find a decent pair that scream power yet are functional.
Amazing painting....really brings him alive I used 1/100 Gundam hands (might have been 1/144 lol) and they worked a treat
Thanks mate, appreciate it. Agree regarding the hands. Thanks TB! He got run over recently, and luckily survived but ended up with a badly broken jaw. It's all fixed now. When he sees cars now, he gives them a nasty look! So you're quite correct
Yeh I have about 50 pair of Gundam hands, 5 pair of B-club manipulators and 1 set of the G-System 1/100 hands but none of them seem to call out Megatron to me. And most of the Gundam hands end up being too spindly, weak looking and not detailed enough.
Sure I have a set of those hands knocking about. Was gonna mod my Hedge (not like when I use her bikini trimmer) but forgot and sold him ages ago. That looks amazing pumpkin. Your painting style is a signature, said it before and I stand by it. Awesome stuff.

Man this one just pops off the page! metallic is perfect, and your red s are stunningly vivid. It brings the whole composition to life...I Can just hear Welker spit out, "Power flows to the one who knows."
