I posted a link to this thread in my backgrounds thread on the Radicons but you might want to consider making this thread there too. My backgrounds were added to the Table of Contents there so it would be easier for others to find long after the thread has been buried.

Thanks for the comments guys :)

    Brum Bot, PM received :thumb

Rexidus and Takeshi, both good ideas. I'll finish up with the movie and S3 in here, then compile all the images in as large a size as possible in a Radicons thread :)

I may lack a printer suitable for printing these big enough to be used as display backdrops, but at least I can use them as desktop wallpapers :D

Never trolling boy, only me being in awe of the 30th anniversary.
Never spamming, only me expressing my gratitude of what I am privileged to behold in a thread.
    Indeed.

A few more shots from the tv series...

I've started going through the '86 movie now. Before we get into the images, I wanted to post this frame that I found accidentally (skimming through at speed I hit pause and this exact image came up). A genuine frame from the movie, unaltered. Can you make out what it is? :)

I think it would make a cool T-shirt!

That's Megatron holding Hot Rod while he points his gun at Prime! Nice find.

I'm really looking forward to your TFTM backgrounds.

It is indeed :D  I guess it's a a brief flash frame to represent the gun blast. Thought it was a really nice, stylised image and worth sharing.

So here we go, the movie...

    "Why settle for a peek"
This one was a pain to do but worth it I think. In the film it's a travelling shot with trees and cliffs flying by in the foreground so you only get glimpses of Autobot City in the background. Using patches from almost every frame I managed to assemble them together a bit like a jigsaw:

Amazing! That pic of Autobot City is beautiful. Thank you. Seriously, I want that as a framed piece of art.

Ok, after seeing that Space Bridge "tube" a couple of pages back I just had to say this stuff is awesome, and thanks for the effort. Autobot City is amazing.

And if you're interested in "flash frames," here's another:
When I was a kid I happened across this one. In MTMTE Part 2, after the Bots fly (yes, fly) into the dam power plant, Megatron says, "Try and stop me Prime!" and fires. There's a one frame flash that is easy to miss.

Lol I know what you mean, it's quite impressive isn't it? Amazes me that these pieces of art were used once or twice in a background and not made more of. I really don't know if anyone has tried to piece frames together like this before, but I've definitely never seen it done. It gives a whole new appreciation of the material.
Thanks! Have you got the pic to post? If not I'll try and dig it up.

    More images from the movie...
