Had a loooong day and when i got home i needed some zen time. So grabbed the dremel tool, epoxy and paints. Working on a custom Devastator using some junker energon bots and parts from ebay and the broken toy bin from a local toy shop. Worked on arms. Will work on legs and transforming chest wings tomorrow. Any comments and suggestions are welcome!
nice. i've got two sets of these i was holding onto in case fp ever released a kit for it. really digging it....
The hands are the best, sturdiest and most poseable i've found (burnt through a lot of duds by other brands) They are the G System - 1/60 or 1/72 Injection Made Full-Action Hands.
Got him to stand up. Still not finished. Have some more parts in the works for bulking up and stabilizing the knees which are worn out (I made this guy out of junker parts from a bin at a local toy shop). Got him strong enough that he can lift and throw autobots so they learn to stay in their cave. All Hail Megatron!!!
The combined joints are strong enough to hold other figures. And displays ok height wise with Superion.
Finished putting together the custom Devastator. Whew, it's been a long fun process. Learned patience and how to cuss more silently.
From his humble beginnings as Energon Devastator to kicking Prowl out of The Green Team of the IDW comics. Devastator has been my favorite combiner since he first appeared in episode 16 "Heavy Meyal War".
