That would probably work too, but it'd probably take forever to get done on this guy. Either way if you plan to remove the yellow paint then prepare for a lot of work!
no, he said in his first post that he had to paint them due to a mistake he made, but that if you don't try to use a dremel like he did the chrome should remain in tact. This does increase the temptation of YOTH prime but I still don't like the black molded bits, and i really don't want to tear into a Masterpiece figure and try to paint it, so I'll still pass.
Ive done lots of paint removal using this method. Alt bluestreak comes to mind. I removed all of his vehicle paint in under a few hours.
Yup.. They are silver.. Because I painted them. But I assure you the method works as long as you don't accidentally strip the chrome by trying to speed up the process.. which is what I did accidentally.. which is why I painted them to make them look uniform. I can understand still wanting to pass on this guy even with that knowledge. The Clear trailer was kinda cool, but to me I REALLY liked the more realistic look the darker colors seemed to give OP. So I liked the black (others might not). That said.. I have a clear trailer that is going to be painted black and turned all G2 when I've got some more free time!!
