Hey all, after seeing the news of that Takara Jolt getting a release soon here's what I did.
I didn't bother with the back since I don't display my figures facing the wall and I was running out of paint anyway.
And here is the video I did for it in more detail IJKustoms DOTM Jolt - YouTube

    Paints used:
Citadel Ironbreaker for claws and neck
Basic Acrylic Black mixed with Ironbreaker for arm details
    Citadel Kantor Blue
Silver Ultra Fine Sharpie detail on head, tyres, and license plate
Gold Ultra Fine Sharpie Chevy logos

Actually the tail lights are clean, my camera just didn't pick it up and made it look blurry. And I actually like how the collar turned out since it looks scratched up.

Oh, now I see that the red bubbled while drying. Thanks I'll get to fixing that

Great idea and most of the work is excellent, but buddy, the paint hasn't "bubbled" it's just not clean applied. The black isn't applied clean as well,a but not a big deal, clean it up and all is fine :)

Would it be possible to use a blue sharpie instead of paint. I need a cheap way of making him blue.

Not really since my history with sharpies has proven that the ink doesn't adhere to the plastic properly like my citadel paint does. In theory you can do it but it isn't beneficial in the long run since the sharpie will come off. Plus the Citadel paint I use isn't that expensive and it does adhere to the plastic after several layers. Where I get it it is 4.99$ per 12 ml pot depending on where you get it from Painting & Modelling | Games Workshop Webstore.
