This is my most recent completed custom, the Transformers Masterpiece (MP-10) OPTIMUS PRIME. This started out as a commissioned piece, but the commissioner had to back out due to a medical reason that he needed to conserve finances for. This figure features a host of numerous modifications and upgrades. This figure includes the following upgrades: - Fully 3D designed and printed hyper articulated hands - Fully 3D designed and printed larger cannon with high intensity BLUE LEDs - High Intensity BLUE LED in head and matrix chamber that is synchronized to the audio. - High quality audio chip that says 4-5 unique OPTIMUS PRIME phrases. The wheel covers were also removed for the traditional G! look as per the commissioner as well. Along with the above mentioned upgrades the figure was fully disassembled, cleaned, degreased, then base coated with a custom mixture of flat metallic red and blue paint. as well as ultra flat black on the robotic parts which was followed by a series of multiple dry brush layers of varying grays and silvers. All of the fine details were painted with high quality lacquers and enamel paints. I enjoyed working on this figure and I hope everyone enjoys him! Stunning! Glorious colours. I really like the blue on the head, and love the yellow parts. Everything blends so classy and elegant. It's just amazing
This is one of the best Optimus prime repaints I've seen EVER. The paint work is BEYOND phenomenal. It's your best one yet. GREAT job dude!
You haven't made a custom/repaint that I didn't think was just stellar, so this is more of the same. There is one choice you made that I wouldn't, but different strokes. Other'n that, this is the kind of paint I wish Masterpieces came with. I'd really, REALLY like a light-up head for mine. Are you sure you won't sell kits and/or castings. I just don't want to experiment with lights.
Holy hand grenades, that is phenomenal! Excellent job! The paint is incredible and those LEDs really make him come alive. Incredible!
OH MY ANCIENT ALIENS! Damn that is a killer paint job,bro! What Red and Blue metallic flats are those? So perfect!
