I call this one the Gat Tape. It's a pair of twin blasters that combine into a single micro cassette. I've been tinkering with this one for a while now, but I've finally got it working. The one seen here is printed in Polished Alumide. It's a bit sparkly, but I think it's works nicely. They fit in Soundwave's 5mm hands quire nicely. The sprocket holes are also 5mm, so if you want to get creative, you can plug other guns into them. They're now up for sale on my Shapeways page.
Thanks everyone! I'm happy with how these worked out, and I'm really glad that all of you are too. They're designed for G1 Soundwave, but the MP can hold them too- but just barely.
I can imagine the scene where Soundwave is captured, disarmed, and led to the detention center...then, just as his cell door is unlocked, he pops these out of his chest and spins about in a spiral of two-fisted, gun-blazing destruction. He then frees the Decepticon agent he was supposed to break out.
Plastic types Hi Tom_Servo! What type of plastic are you showing in your pictures please? I'm looking to buy a set! Thank you very much for your time! Gat Tape by tomservo on Shapeways
Thanks everyone! I'm glad that after all this time, people are still interested enough to keep posting encouragement. B-13 these guns are in Polished Alumide. All of the others shown are in White Strong and Flexible Polished. Thanks for your interest!
I totally missed that I'm in the Creative Spotlight this month! Thanks so much to the mods and all the users who had a hand (or mouse) in the selection!
Dude, I hope you are working for Unique Toys now, because otherwise they pretty much stole your idea for a transforming cassette-tape-to-gun for their Blaster (aka Soundmixer).
