Here's one way to take that broken BW Transmetal Megatron and tell gold plastic syndrome to go to Hades I suppose. Made to go with the existing Universe and Henkei Cheetor and Dinobot, and the upcoming Generations Waspinator and Rhinox. T-rex skates and tail weapon extensions easily attach (skates peg into robot hands and tail sections are on ball joints) and can be stored in the backpack in either mode. I know the skates are backwards from the original version but this way fit better and made more sense to me. Maybe now a tiny rock won't trip him up. With the dino hip turbines on his shoulders, they can be flipped up in robot mode too for robot hovering similar to how he did in the show. For the Ebay next week. Hope yall like him.
Wow man, color me flabbergasted. I never would have even thought. And you did such a good job on it as well. Only little thing is extry dino feet on the tail. Considering this is an update vs needing to be exact, I think you could have done without. Regardless, you sir have won an internets.
Fantastic work! I really like how you integrated the original toy's part with the Grimlock mold. This also disappoints me, knowing Hasbro's planned repaint will not be anywhere as nice as your custom. I really love this shot with Dinobot!
Haha thanks guys! Actually I originally wasn't planning to use the claw feet for bot mode just because of where they ended up in T-rex mode, but bot mode simply didn't feel right without them and I wanted to get him as far from Grimlock-looking as possible.
Ths is an ultra-cool idea. Man, I really wish we'd get a new figure of this design. Bigger, cooler, like teh animation model.
