So this is a commissioned-project offered to me about a month ago, and now that I've gotten some other smaller projects out the way, Im finally getting my hands on it and got it rollin'. This is yet an unnamed, "Titan" that the client and I haven't decided on yet, but one thing's for sure, it'll be the nastiest, most wicked Titan anybody's ever seen...

The concept is, this Titan's alt-mode will be an old, abandoned steel-mill inspired by the long-retired "Bethlehem Steel Mill" in Pennsylvania, and a shit-load of pics I found of this mill and others on the internet. Below are some of the pics I'm using as reference. The alt-mode will consist of most of the MAIN components that a foundry consists of to function like exhaust-stacks, a blast-furnace, stock-house & tracks leading to the blast-furnace and some converter-tanks here and there. Lots of smaller final details will be added later like trestles, connecting beams and such.

The bot-mode of this beast will basically look like somethin' straight outta hell. To further this build, the client has already had a new, custom-head made for him to really top this thing off and give it the wicked look it really needs. He will be fully transformable, with NO parts-forming, everything will stay connected. Since the knee & hip-joints are already weak as hell from the factory, it's mandatory that they all be reinforced to support the newly-added weight of the upper-body and posability.

So far, as you can see here, he already has a telescoping main exhaust-stack that comes out of the right-side of his chest, that then connects to the secondary and tertiary stacks connected to the right arm. The 3rd, outer stack splits up into 3 pieces in bot-mode and becomes 3 different cannons for that arm in addition to the 4th secondary stack in the middle, giving him a total of 4 smaller cannons just for the right arm. As far as the left arm, the main blast-furnace (that black 3-1/2" pipe in the back) will serve as an arm-cannon (like Shockwave's) replacing his forearm & hand on that side. Needless to say he will be well-equipped with firepower. As far as the legs go, those will be converted to runways with extending stock-car supply-tracks and will house a few auxiliary-tanks and a small building on that left leg. LOT'S of ideas and work to do on this monster, but it's finally begun, and will be one of the most ambitious transforming projects I've ever done...but that's what I do.  Thanks for looking!

The head was actually based on the basic design of the factory-version, mainly the helmet and majority of the face....only a little nastier....and the new head has actual horns like "Darkness" from the movie "Legend", not the straight-up pipes the original head has. The new head fits him perfectly, was custom-done by Arteloko, the very skilled & talented custom head-master! The right hand will also reflect the overall vibe of this theme, and will have long claw-like fingers, longer than Predaking's. :ev:  I wanted to implement the word "forge" into it initially, just gotta find an accompanying word that works well with it. "Hell Forge" & "Forge Lord" were some of the 1st names that came to mind....

This toy has SOOOOooooo much potential, the detail and space to work with seems infinite! I will however, need to remove some stuff here and there like the shin-plates that either won't be needed or look too Cybertronian. A lot of things will need to be hidden and altered since it's a decades-old mill...

Sounds really cool. For the name, I like the sound of Sweatshop.

    Interesting idea and flavourful inspiration.

For his name, I'd propose Ironwrought; fitting because it describes his function and 'wrought' is a homophone for 'rot'.

    Other suggestions: Derelict or Foundry.

:jawdropper: Look's... So... Awesome... Should've broug... poet...
This is the same Bethlehem Steel Mill that they used in RotF for the Shanghai set, right? Because that was a pretty foreboding set. As for names, I think something like Furnace Maximo or Smeltor would be fitting.

I think Chop Shop would be a good name, or maybe Blast Furnace, or Ruinous.

When I can afford that 3D-printer & mass-produce 'em!

Thanks so much for the resource man, that was a great help!

Not nasty enough! :p  Gotta sound like he's straight outta hell! Lol

Thanks man, this is just the start, shit's just gonna get crazier from here on out!

Those are headed in the right direction...this guy's gonna look really wicked and brutal, so even his name's gotta draw blood when it's heard.

It could be, not sure! Gonna be brainstorming this guy's name for quite a while!

Oh, it's gonna get interesting alright, one of the most ambitious transforming projects I've ever pulled off...

Getting hot! Thanks for the feedback!

I like "Ruinous", and I like "Ruination" too, disappointed it's already taken. :mad

I like! Thanks for the input!

It'll be worth following for sure! :rock  As with all my projects, I will have a video featuring lots of pics and 360-degree "Bay-shots", and I also plan to make an additional bonus-video of me actually transforming this beast! :ev:

Yep its official my mind just got flushed down the proverbial toilet! When you said you had something epic in store, I had no idea. You definitely delivered on that claim. I can not wait to see this finished, and I know you're going to kill it. So Awesome

You know what. I think the best name is also ripe with irony and satire. Taken from the guy who tried to defend Find Me Guilty by insulting everyone, the best choice is Metalfatigue.
