Andrew Carnegie - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If you don't feel like reading the page, Carnegie caused the expansion of the steel industry in America back in the late 1800s by introducing the Bessemer process, which was a vastly cheaper way of producing steel. It's really convenient I just learned about him in school.

Or Necropolex. You know, like "Necropolis."

But I agree with the previous suggestion of "Steelburn."

this is a fun concept and its cool you are taking suggestions on the name

i like the alternate transformationg you have come up with. i kinda hope one of the giant smoke stacks is for a massive arm cannon.

    names ......toxicity comes to mind

as does blast furnace (considering the amount of firepower you are suggesting)

or The Alchemist, an unstoppable force believing only the concept of Equivalent Exchange and focusing this on the deed that will bring him omnipotence. In turn due to his beliefs he is walking death, decimating legions even entire cities laid to waste in his pursuit.

I'd call him Vulcan since that's the god of the forge. Looks like a cool project!

For smoke---the company "Seuthe" is #1 for model trains. They make many aftermarket smoke generators of different sizes to fit most anywhere.

A note for smoke---as most model trains are made of painted plastic, nearly all the fluids used to make the smoke are paint/plastic safe. But they do leave a slight residue, you'd want to do a quick "wipe down" afterwards.

2nd note for smoke---many are scented. Most are scented to smell like coal and/or a furance/boiler, as that's what most steam locomotives smell like. Pesonally I hate the scented smoke, but it may be a plus for the client. (oil-fired locomotives smell like an old apartment etc steam-pipe radiator)

About the only truly odor-free smoke fluid, is made by Bachmann.

Model train electical basics (what any smoke generator will need):

    9-16 volts, DC.

Nothing short of hellish-firepower & BFGs. The blast-furnace doubles as a left-arm cast-blaster in 'bot-mode, and the 2 smaller outer-stacks convert to 4 smaller stack-blasters on the right arm. The blast furnace is made of ABS-pipe, pvc-pipe & elbows, top half of a PowerAde bottle, bottlecaps, aluminum flatbar and styrene sheeting. It's also designed with a series of rare-earth magnets both internally and externally to allow a smooth 2-3/4" telescoping-function for the center stack and brackets to transform and adjust for robot-mode and mill-mode.

Can never have too many gatling guns around! Mostly the way the Decepticons seems to be attacking mills back in G1. Might have actually been a good idea for the union to have them installed. ;)

Good for repelling Decepticon attacks or renegotiating union contratcs with mill owners, either way its win win for the union. ;)
