Leviatron, forgegorgon, imperatron, Doomforge, tyranniforge, skyforge, Omegagargant, massacre, tyrannicon, hades, terminus Maximus, terminus forge, dreadforge.

A cool back story might be that this guy is basically a processing plant to smelt enemies that then power him. He could have a crew of minions to assist in this. Basically a murderous transforming concentration camp. He would be dreaded indeed. Basically a horror story for autobots.

Rigging a small fog machine in the chest would be cool. That way, he always has the aura of desolation.
As fir a couple of names...
    -Infernus
-Antaeus (Giant of Brutality from Dante's Inferno)

Oh,this is going to be wicked!

Found this term under Steel Glossary of terms: Galvanneal:Refers to a sheet steel product that is annealed after hot dip galvanizing with zinc. The additional annealing step produces an external zinc-iron alloy coating which gives the coated steel product exceptional corrosion resistance.

here's a link to the site for terms of reference material:

    Very cool, I second this.

I've seen the horned head sculpt and this seems like the absolute perfect project for it's use! Great work so far KINGBOTZ.

    Nice! Part of the blast-furnace!

Yep, this is gonna rival the TFTM I did in complexity for sure....it'll take a few minutes to transform it, this thing will have more pivot-points than a half-court basketball game.

I'm not familiar with that character, but it actually sounds good as a name for this Titan's potential smaller minion, if I decide to do something with the little "Scamper" guy that came with him....

    And more is comin'! Thanks!

Wow, Leviatron, Tyranniforge & Tyrannicon are my favorites! Thanks for the input!! :rock

Infernus is fantastic! ...And I really do need to figure out how to get some smoke in there, would really add to the overall horror...

    I like it too!

Tryin to reduce the suckage with this one as much as possible! :lol

    :lol

Great resource, thanks for the feedback!

Given the magnitude of this thing, I think it's inevitable that I put SOMEthin' on this thing here and there....I would really like to get some slowly pulsating or flickering LEDs on it somewhere...Christmas is comin up, so that shouldn't be too hard to find at the craft-store!

It really is! The client had a very vivid image of what he wanted, and the head-sculpt matches the theme perfectly. I may add to it to enhance it a little bit before it's all said and done. It's hard to say what direction this thing is gonna take along the way, but I guarantee you it'll be a freak-show.

Metalfatigue is the user name of a guy who I have to assume is part of the 3rd party company Find Me Guilty. That company has repeatedly stolen designs from board members here who offer their products on Shapeways. Guilty then attempts to sell them at retail without any acknowledgment or contact to the original creator. FakeBusker has repeatedly a victim of them. But the fandom has informed retailers of these thefts and as a result their products have been pulled from those sites. This Metalfatigue guy came in when their newest thievery was announced and called us hypocrites and other insults. So basically the exact opposite of how a company should act in defense of actions it should never take. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-3rd-party-discussion/951314-guilty-rewind-eject.html

The irony of stealing his name for your figure made me really excited.

I've seen some miniature model train steam locomotives which have a mechanism incorporated into them to release little puffs of smoke as the train rolls along the track. A small amount of liquid fuel is dripped from a tube or bottle into the locomotive's smokestack to generate the smoke for awhile.

I don't really know anything else about how it works or what fuel is used, but it might be a ready-made system you could adopt and integrate into your figure easily enough. A visit to a good hobby shop could likely tell you if it'd be a workable solution and provide you with all that you'd need to try it.

Alternatively, perhaps you could discretely incorporate one or more small incense holders into the figure's smokestacks. When you want them to smoke, you just light a few shortened sticks and tuck them into their holders and voila, steady streams of smoke rising from the smokestacks.

Either way, this suggests the infernal sounding names Hellfire and Brimstone.

Now that would be funny as hell, and I remember vaguely hearin about this a while back.

Yep, that's the goal! I picture him as a cannibalistic-robot, basically like a smaller version of Unicron that melts down dead Autobots (or whoever else got in his way), processes & digests them, sustaining him for extended lengths of time depending on the "harvest".

Wow, I'm gonna have to look into the train-smoke method and see if it would work in this application and if it's substantial enough to see and safe for the plastics. Dry-ice has always been in the back of my mind for the guns for the bigger stuff, might work for this too, again, depending how it works with plastic.

The incense is kinda messy with residual ash, and could potentially be bad for the plastic since something is actually burning, I'll pass on that one. Dry-ice would be perfect if it doesn't melt the surrounding plastic, and vaporizes clean without a trace....but still isn't entirely practical for the user, it's a little harder to get that stuff than typical ice. Will continue to look at alternatives... But thanks for the help and input!

Yeah the locomotive smoke would probably be your best bet on that one, also, i imagine that some red and orange (mostly orange) led's in the furnace and smokestacks would be awesome! really bright in the furnace and just enough to light the smoke in the stacks. and for names I'm thinking something like Hellwrought or Ferrous Maximus and the minions could be called Hellions.

Amazing work, I am really interested to see how this turns out!

I checked and it seems that there are a bunch of these different miniature smoking mechanisms for use in model trains, boats and building dioramas. Just google the words "model smoke generator" and learn all about them.

If it's gonna be a steel mill, we gotta go back.

    It should be named Carnegie.

Thanks for the help and input! It's pretty much mandatory to get some flickering LEDs in there somehow, and if I can get some lighting to work in conjunction with the smoke, I'll be happy.

Thanks man! I think that's the way to go!

I'm not familiar with the background on the name, but I'll look into it, thanks!

That's exactly the theme I'm shooting for, a zombie-like monster sort-of-speak. The possibilities of detail on this is infinite...
