Make it transform, too!

 

hi everyone
I took a couple of pics with the doors off, I only put in a few transformers, since Im still doing stuff to him i didnt want to fill him up only to take them all out to work on him.
let me know what you think.

 

I'm so jealous ! Like I've said before(in previous post) I have plans for this big guy one day . I think if you put only G1 styled autobots in Metroplex he'd look better....in my opinion .

And I love all the compartments you've built into him !

 

Very nice. It'd be funny to repaint your Classics Metroplex to look like G1 Six-Gun to act as a mini sidekick for your giant Metroplex. =D

Also, there's something paradox breaking about having a Unicron inside of Metroplex. *Mind blown*

 

Wow.. Using the Ironman mask it actually a GREAT idea for the base of a face. Bravo for thinking outside the box (pun intended) there.

 

This is beyond awesome and would drive me crazy.By crazy I mean,i wouldn't know which mode to keep it in.I would have to transform it everyday.

 

That's one way to get a 20 minute workout.

 

And its a full body work out too!
It feels like the last 30% is taking forever. But I should have some new progress pics in a day or so.

Im slowly getting around to doing some detail to the big guy.
Ive done a little to his chest and started painting his face, i like the look of FOC Metroplex but im not sure if it suits mine.

I think its looking great so far, the extra details really make a difference!

 

The FOC mods you've made look nice but I find they unfortunately water-down the iconic G1 aesthetic that his boxy frame had so far adhered to. I was looking forward to you pushing the G1 detailing to the max. Just my 2¢ though. You go your own way.

 

I think the FOC lines on his face looks good and I'm really not into the FOC design of Metroplex . In my opinion what you've done to the face has really made a big difference from making it looking NOT like an iron man mask .

 

Wow, this is a hell of an ambitious project for your first, and welcome to TFW! Looks like a router came in handy with this project, I really need to get one of those for all the work I do with particle-board....but the new 2-ft Metroplex in the pic really puts in perspective the size of this guy, nice work!
