A black and blue figure for a grey and purple character? *facepalm* This is the only show-accurate purple custom I've seen so far and also my first custom in 13 months! I wanted to paint this toy before I even bought it but I was just too busy doing other things.

Before painting I needed to improve the range of motion in the knees and modify the gun so it attaches to the robot in a more show-accurate way. I've tried for CGI accurate colours but some might say he's a bit too light, however, after seeing them in day sunlight in later episodes I think I've done quite well. Although some people may have preferred them black or dark grey, as far as I can see the sunken details on the car are purple. It's not perfect but it's better than your Vehicon so shut up :)

I am not a Vehicon lover, and I love it. By the way, I remember hearing way back about a Vehicon whose body was cleverly worked into his legs to minimize kibble, but I can't remember which version (FE, PRID, etc.) it was. Any idea which one I am referring to? Also, do you have a preference? Is one superior? Thanks. I wanted to ask this for ages, but I didn't have a clue where to post. Really nice job though, and I respect your decision making with the colors/shading. Well done laddie.

That would be the rid version, which is this thing of beauty right here! :p

Looks great. I 'm sure his purple is a lot darker though. Still nice

Wow, thanks for all the feedback guys, this seems like an active and friendly forum. I'll post some more TFP customs soon.

This version (as cliffjumperftw1 said, it's RiD) is the best IMO because it has better poseability and also less kibble, because the transformation is pure genius. The whole of the top of the car from bonnet to spoiler fold inside the lower leg. The FE version (the only FE mold I didn't get) has a large portion of car on his back. Looking at this RiD mold in robot mode, it's hard to believe it can transform into a hard-top car!

Looks more like a miner, but that's still technically show-accurate.
