Hey guys.I just got my reprolabels today and I thought I would share some pictures for you guys so you can see what springer looks like with decals.Hope I did some justice on some of these pictures. On the 3rd to last picture does anyone know how to make that front tab in?.Mine seems warped or somthing. When I try to tab it in it seems slanted and it pops back out.Any suggestions and tips would be helpful.I will post my blitzwing reprolabels tommorrow.
hmm, the labels are growing on me, I might end up getting them, but one thing, how much of a pain in the ass are they to put in place? I thought I saw a few that are on smooth surfaces and look to be hard to install, are they very frustrating to install for novice lablers?
the stickers that wraps around the top near the rims are difficult. This is my 2nd time putting on reprolabels.I highly recommend using an Xacto knife, and tweezers. And after you apply the stickers you go over it with a Q-Tip.And I had alot of fun putting on these stickers.Brings back alot of childhood memories.I know not everyone likes to put stickers on their transformers. But in my opinion some of these stickers bring out the character more.
I agree. No fault of the OP obviously, but most of this set just looks out of place and perhaps a bit distracting in spots.
Those look awesome. I love the prototype markings on the alt modes. As if I needed any more temptation to get Springer...
Personally I love the look there shooting for! I think it brings out detail and adds mix to the bland flat solid-colored surfaces
Those appear to be Blitzwing's decals, I like some of these stickers for Springer ( like the green, red, and yellow wire one). I am not digging the caution like decals, too busy for me.
gotta agree as well, in some place they look good but in other they look really overdone, namely those ugly as sin wheel decals
I guess this is one of those love and hate situations.I mainly going to pose him in his robot form. But it really does look better in person.
They just seem, to me, to be really out of place. They don't add to the figure as most Repro sets do. Their distracting, where most repro set blend into their respective figures building them up. This set seems to over power the Springer figure and diminish him in favor of the sticker set. Am I making sense?
Is Chase prototypes a sly reference to Chip Chase from G1? He went on to found some experimental transport company?
He did?Where the heck did that bit of info come from? They look alright and I do like the fact that Reprolabels is making these available because they do give the sense of the G1 era nostalgia.I don't get why Hasbro just doesn't include those stickers any more or just have them painted on?I think they have gone really cheap on their products as of late.
