Apparently, it's MTMTE week at Smog's house. I'm a lazy kitbasher, and I hate painting, so Takara Arms Micron Ironhide seemed like the obvious place to get a minibot-esque Swerve... he's already red, and waaaaay too small to be Ironhide, so why not, right? * EDIT * Thanks for all the comments, guys! A lot of people are asking about where the head came from. I figured I'd post that info up here to make it more accessible. As ArcTrooperAlpha correctly identified, it's actually the head from Botshots Topspin, with a bit of sanding and repainting. I haven't really decided whether I like the engine-bonnet up, or folded back, but I guess either way works. Sorry, no alt-mode pics, though he looks pretty much exactly the same as stock Ironhide anyway. The white paint got away from me in a few places, but I managed to clean most of it up. The red paint leaked under the masking on the head, and needed some isopropyl to remove it, so there's still some cleaning up to be done. The big area of pure white on his chest just looked... bad... it swallowed up all the detail there, so instead I did some panel-lining and weathering... it's a bit rough, but it actually looks more striking I think. Does anybody even read these opening posts for kitbashes, or do they just skip straight to the pictures like me? Ba-weep-gra-na-weep-ninny-bong. Herp-a-derp poopyfarts. So yeah, pictures. I wish I had half your skill at head mods. Gorgeous. Reminds me of ZacWilliams' Cyberverse Ironside/Swerve custom. Better scale to your Chromedome, though. Man those Prime deluxes are small.

I dig the white with the weathering. He's looking nice, especially with the hood bonnet down, up always looks weird (its like a crazy hat). That head is awesome, a bigger noggin really makes that mold look better. No love for the hands and forearms tho?
